I'll look for a customizer who can do the following specs: most important is the brass channel (which you call casing.) It must be made of very thick brass sheet (nearly 2mm.) All channels i see nowadays are so thin, that's why they deform or loosen easily. Next the bone inserts should be longer (shorter brass bolsters) and most inportantly should be raised above the thickness of the brass bolsters. I dont know why they have to grind it flush with the bolsters. Raised inserts will provide a palm swell that will help you grip the knife better. Those streamlined profiles could slip, especially if they're smooth wood. And then the brass latch. They're so thin nowadays. They should be thicker, and the stud must be prominent: bigger, square, and rough textured. And yes, the blade must be labaha in carbon steel, given a proper "subo." Thanks for the video.
