Let’s go back a year ago United fans. Licking our wounds after getting clapped against City in the FA cup. Greenwood embarrassing the club. A couple weeks later, Sancho and ETH fell out. A miserable start to the season. Then began the pandemic of premier league injuries 23/24 which hit us dramatically. We had the worst season ever. Now today, we have an FA cup under our belt to carry positivity. We are seeing business being done the right way. We can see real direction. Let this be a lesson. No matter how much you may suffer… there is always hope for a better day 🤝🍆🔥❤️🥳

AWB is too good to let go, what happens when they have to play teams like Madrid and psg with winters like mbappe etc. he’s always been reliable - never causes any drama and by far the best defensive player I’ve seen in a long time. United sound loan put AWB get a loan in and see if he’s able to improve his game going forward than you make the final . Because I guarantee we will regret letting AWB go

Don't agree. He's lazy in recovery, gives opponent wingers far too much room and allows them to travel 20-30 yards into the box before he engages them with a last ditch slide tackle, resulting in an avoidable corner. Top defenders take the ball off opponents. Mid-table quality.

I think United will do this Mazroui deal before any sales just because he is proficient at both lb and rb so if Shaw or Malacia issues during the season he can go in there to fill in and if Wan leaves there's a ready made replacement too a win win. Plus West ham already negotiated a deal without United tax hence an easy one to do. It just makes sense all round.

AWB is amazing in one on one and defensive capabilities but he can't play very good going forward, not the best of passers or link up players and can't cross a ball which are 2 vital things in a wing back.

"Squad space" is a thing - each PL club can register 25 players over the age of 21 each season, 8 of which must be England "home grown". Continental competitions also have their own registration rules. You honestly thought every club could just run up a roster of 50 players???

Secondly, we don't have to register the likes of AWB, Lindelof and Erickson to play in the squad if we consider them surplus to requirements. The issue is simply transfer fees IN and total wage bill. Squad space is a formality and not relevant in the question of why United are holding off on signing players. Whats more relevant is if we sign an RB, then the value of AWB drops as everyone knows he is then surplus. Its all finances and nothing to do with squad numbers.

Why can't Man United just convert AWB to a centre back, he's one of the best 1v1 defending right back in the world
AWB doesn’t have the aerial ability. Also he’s pretty bad tactically. He struggles in positioning and wouldn’t know when to step up. He’s a great 1 v 1 defender, but that’s not what you need at CB
Lack of instincts. Centrehalves have to read the game and hold the line, something Aaron isn't that great at. It may work in a back 5 with 2 other CBs covering and holding the line for hin but with only one partner, he's going to leave gaps.
