I feel like The Weeknd is the GOOD ENDING, the one who got away and became one of the biggest names in music today. PARTYNEXTDOOR, of course, being the BAD ENDING, as he’s compared to The Weeknd and has limited potential. Thank god Abel didn’t sign🙏🏾

I wouldn't put pnd next to the Weeknd. Don't get me wrong his songs off his first 2 projects still hit but his voice isn't as special as Weeknd. But I get what your saying they both were confronted with this same bad deal. One just got away and the other is stuck.

What's funnier is that Drake is acting like Taylor Swift didn't end up embracing hip hop since the beginning. She performed Live Your Life alongside T.I. at one of her concerts back in the day. She made a song with B.o.B. for his second album. Yes she made Bad Blood with Kendrick Lamar. But it's weird that Drake made it sound like KDot was the only musician to collab with her recently. Because FUTURE joined her and Ed Sheeran for a song together.

The Weeknd dodged a bullet by not signing to Drake. Had that happened, he wouldn’t have been able to achieve half of what he’s managed to achieve. He’s pretty much become the Michael Jackson of our time.

What has been stated about Drake's label can also be said for Beyonce's label. Ask Chloe Bailey how she feels being stuck in a contract to do 6 albums for one million dollars without any effort from the label to promote her.

I understand why Kendrick hates drake now. maybe Kendrick and his team can never get drake prosecuted, but he would like his scumminess to be shown publicly to the world, that he is not a good person by any means. Kendrick knows that he won't change, and he can't make him go away either.

Correction: Makonnen was already making buzz in the underground scene even before Tuesday dropped. In the record deal drake specified that if he didn't sign, he had to pay for the remix, and if he did sign, he would have to delete all of his music before tuesday. Makonnen, scared of how much he had to pay for a drake feature, agreed to the deal.

People keep saying that J Cole is the winner of all this, and to that I say NAH. Kendrick wanted drake exposed as a fraud and he achieved that better than I think him or anyone else imagined. I’m still astounded at how hard drake hammered in the final nails into his coffin in the heart pt 6😂😂
