I just picked up the same bike yesterday and was not too happy about the Praxis 48/32 crank on it. Trek’s website specs call for a GRX 600 46/30. I really wanted the lower gearing for the type of riding I do. Love everything else about the bike!!

Hi, same as you I got the bike with the Praxis, I asked the store to replace and spec the bike as advertised or I'm not buying it ... and they did! Had to wait 2 weeks for the GRX to arrive and they installed it, all at no cost, the store manager put it on as warranty item... Having had both on the bike I can confirm that it changes way smoother and the chain does not rub on the front derailleur with the GRX, Praxis was for sure offset by a few mm. - hope this helps ...

I'm going to do the same thing. Don't know why the Praxis is on there. I'm going to buy the bike IF they make the change to the GRX 600@@mateiux

Good choice, aluminum is the best way to go, carbon can break unexpectedly ;)

What handlebars do you have on there? Also love the bike!

I changed the oem handlebars to the Salsa Cowchipper as the original ones were too narrow for me to have my tent between the bars and change gears. I feel that’s really why gravel bikes have flared drops. I also put on Redshift’s cruise control top and drop grips. I loved them. Lastly I put on Supacaz Sticky Kush Gravel tape as it’s thicker and I liked the look. I also have the Redshift Shockstop stem. Overall I loved the setup.
