I took the exam a week ago. My writing was good but I'm not sure if I have written all of the words correctly. For example, is the phrase 'without doubts' grammatically correct? I know that 'without doubt' and 'without a doubt' are more common but is this one also possible? I also made a few stupid spelling mistakes. Are they very strict about it? Thank you in advance.
Hi Faizan, yes, it is correct in informal writing / speaking. I would use 'to' or 'and' (come to visit / come and visit) if the writing is more formal.
Pan Con Manteca sounds nice. Can you remember how you organised your learning materials and how long you learned for the test? What are the most important things to care about when writing the different texts ?
@@antaresguitar Well, I´m not the right person to ask that bc I barely studied for the test, but I can tell you what my classmates would do. They had a book for every different part of the exam and studied it apart from the others. I studied for a year, but it´s more normal to study for 2 years before you give it. And talking about the writing, I had a very bad mark, approved but not good, so I don´t think I can help with that. But what I can say is that you have to be direct and use difficult words so that they think you know english. Basically you just have to prove that you can write. Oh, and obviously, write more words than the minimum, that´s a very important thing.
