Do you think your feedback regarding lack of power to get upstream would hold for the 180pro as well? I have a crescent shoalie and do single point access on rivers in VA (upper poromac and shenandoah mostly) but would like to start branching out to the Susquehanna. I had been leaning towards 180 pro given the lower weight and smoother throttle mapping, but your video makes me think I'll need the 300 to get upstream in current. Your video was super helpful, but lmk what you think!
Hey man, PJ Butler here. Used to be in contact often on instagram. Got rid of most social media. My question is, how would one register for the B.A.S.S national kayak trail?
Hi Jake. I was a fan of you when you did BF3 and BF4, but fell off of BF towards BF4s end. Question: You said in your video on BF2042 that there were many BF youtubers who were paid by EA to promote BF1 that that a BF youtuber got screwed over by EA for some reason. Can you please tell me that story?
@@ilyakkinwhat is the weight of motor mount and all accessories? And how much can you run it before it drains? My motor is 22lbs and 1 gallon of fuel will last about 4 hours straight runtime. Being only 10lbs in added fuel and top speed of 11-13 I find the power to weight more desirable, and I only spent 160$ on the new motor. I was going to go electric but the 300$ 86lb thrust plus 2 heavy 150$ batteries then wiring etc was going to be 700$+ for more weight and less preformance.
Thanks, great info. I have been leaning toward 180 but now for my im going 180.
Grate information thanks
I’m running an NK300 with my AP 136 in the Puget Sound.
Nice man I’m from coupeville, I got a 3.5 horse 2 stroke on my yak and was salmon fishing the pass today

I have gotten up some rough stuff with the original 180. It's definitely a concern in a really swift/tight current but you can make the 180 work.
@@ilyakkin thanks!
You think a 180 is enough for a Old Town PDL 106 on a big lake with no current?
plenty
good info
What motor would you recommend on my Oldtown Autopilot 120?
NK 300. Honestly Ryan has run his with a 180 and it's super useful
Great video, thanks for all the information. I’m going to go with the 300.

I got a 3.5 horse 2 stroke and it’s lighter and more efficient and waaay more powerful than these weak trolling motors and heavy battery setups
@@joshraczka8006 long as it works for you. Don’t underestimate the efficiency of these motors
