You know she's a true gamer when she reviews the VOD of herself playing in order to improve
or you know.. video editing
@@SystemBot probably both ^^"
League pro players be like
@@renookami4651 Guarantee you its video editing, and not to mention she literally said why she watched the vod in this video. I promise you, good players who aren't pro don't go back and watch themselves rarely if at all. I think people are a little too lost in the sauce.
the greats do that too, *in will go down in history of a lion who will over come to be the most epic lion there is!*
She probably feel that way after seeing how Polka and Nene surprisingly managed to communicate with the EN girls.
Even Lamy surprisingly did her best to do her entire introduction in English and her pronunciation was actually really good. I can imagine how hard it would be to not feel self conscious when Botan looked back and realized she wasn't trying as much as her friends to use English.
Yeah, I thought the same too. Polka & Nene even though they used broken english, but they managed to communicate with them. Meanwhile, Botan was speaking in Japanese more
I really haven't watched a lot of Nene yet, but I have caught Polka's Among Us streams she played. And over the course of those I noticed improvements in her ability to comunicate ideas to english speakers. I was proud to see her switch from 'body' to 'budy'.
@@Aregulargameplayer when Lamy said that she liked to get certification, i expect that she have English Language certification. Well, my guess went well
what's even crazier is that the very few times she spoke english she clearly has better pronunciation than the others. So i see a lot of potential on Botan learning english.
Botan is extremely grounded and honest with herself about what she wants. She's more frank with herself and her viewers than a vast majority of "real" streamers.
She's one cool lady.
That's our Lion. SasuShishi.
Poi~
makes sense, she's one of the oldest of all the HL members, I feel she has a grasp of her life and what she wants out of it than most of the other girls
Botan is one of the realest, most badass VTubers out there!
"I'll make more efforts, driven by regret"
Did this lion just became relatable?
Always has been.
Always has been x2
Always has been x4
Always has been x5
I shall ruined this chain
Interesting perspective cause we as fans don't really see it that way, but if she is frustrated then that is good motivation to get better. Like a gamer.
I bet she gonna speedrun learning eng like a true gamer haha. For real tho I too want to learn japanese.
@@nezunish-898 i still learn japanese right now,its easy to learn hiragana but katakana, kanji make my brain hurt😅
The grammar itself is what kills me
@@tomaja8996 If you're interested
Katakana in a few hours: www.tofugu.com/japanese/learn-katakana/
As for Kanji, I would check out wanikani.com it has a really simple yet effective method of teaching kanji.
I definitely feel that. I've been really frustrated recently since I don't feel like I'm making as much progress in japanese as I should be
I felt her slight frustration when she had Kiara translated her explanation about the O2 sabotage fixing, coz most of the rounds ended in that manner.
She wants to study english language and improve her singing, that's good- stepping out of her comfort zone.
Props to our FPS white lioness.
🎩👏👏👏
Wholeheartedly agree with this adorable and cute lion here. When it comes to language, and everything else for that matter, your first barrier is fear. You're unsure whether you'll be judged by others around you for doing what you do. Second hurdle, in my opinion, is shame. You're starting to learn tid bits of the thing you're studying about, but then when you meet someone else who have done that for so much longer than you do, and you started feeling like they will make fun of you for your 'lack of understanding'. And true, some people are like that, but not all. The moment you get past these hurdles, I fully believe, with enough effort, you can be a master of anything.
TL;DR After overcoming fear and shame, you are more than capable of becoming a master in whatever you're learning, given enough time, practice and experience.
I should think seriously about this from both you message and Botan way of thinking, currently I'm learning programming and it's really difficult don't know where to begin with but as you said fear is a very detrimental factor.
Yes, this is so true
This. Absolutely this.
English isn't my first language, but when I was younger and starting out to learn it, I definitely had these hurdles to overcome. And right now, I feel more comfortable speaking and writing English than my native language, lmfao.
With languages especially, no matter how much you learn, you still understand but "lose" most of it if you don't use it regularly.
I think in hololive they can have a easiest job if they truly want to start learn english, hololive en are more or less composed by not native english speakers for now, so they're probably more open to errors and help a people that have some problems, fanbases love their idols so I think 90% or more of fans will be happy to listen them speaking a little bit of english sometimes...in the end I think they can't gain fans using english only sometimes in the end if you don't know japanese it's difficult to enjoy a live, but i think it's good for themself and their future be able to use this occasion for be able to improve their english, with people like Moona around i could feel improvement on some girls, in the end having the possibility to interact more and a goal like to be able to play with other people can help a lot. Like Botan say you've to feel that but I think in their heart they've this feeling at least someone.( in the end a lot of us have not english like first language, we've different level too but we like to comment and write on chat cause we like that i feel that hololive jp girls want to be able to do this too with their en or id colleagues).
Mfw an Among Us match is an inspiration to learn a new language.
Some of the girls have been trying to lately, quite a few, like Miko who wants to speak with the viewers that don't know japanese, korone being flooded by people like that too. Then there is Polka just learning by playing Among Us with viewers even tho she never made restrictions to which language should everyone use, and Pekora just wishing to be able to speak with Moona easier.
Oh, and i could i forget wholesome duck trying to practice english to be able to speak with everyone in hololive branches and her shinobi.
JP bros in participation streams too. There is no Kanji symbols in among us so they're incentiviced to speak english and romaji
this is actually so wholesome 😭❤
I love these girls
ikr? love that competitive spirit even in a goofy game
You gotta be somewhat serious in Among Us for it to be fun though. The more English they know the more they can play. They should use more romanji though. Cuz a lot of non Japanese can actually understand a lot more of those. Japanese Alphabet hard. xD
Tbh, when I heard she was into western games, I expected her to know English more than her fellow holoFivers.
But, man does she thrive to be better at everything. She really does take streaming very professionally.
Well, that is the path. Something like that happened to me, i used to be good at reading english but not that good at writing or speaking until i wanted to communicate with more people, play games in english and read novels. Now i can write, speak, hear and read at a good level i think....
Western game in japan have jp dub or at least jp sub right ?
I suspect she can read and understand written English. Speaking is a completely different skill set.
oh god speaking a new language is different from writing it. reading a new language depends probably
That's the downside of having every video game provide dubs and subtitles for the language you speak. In a lot of countries that don't get translations for their languages which means they just have to play the English version of the game, playing video games improves their English significantly. A lot of gamers end up being able to speak English in the long run.
In Japan, it's almost certain that western games released there will get Japanese dubs. So they'll basically get the same experience as if they were to play a Japanese game.
She’s amazing. She looks back and sees that she needs to improve and knows what she lacks. That’s actually pretty difficult for some people
Yea it's called introspection
Trial and error
That's was key of success
You will stuck in same position over and over again if you just in your comfort zone
Well, sometimes us as human, need to try new things and aim to greater good, but don't forget other things too like always grateful for what your have now, and always work hard to achieve our goal
Botan went from "I'm learning Chinese but I dont know if i want to learn english too"
To "I wish I could speak more English"
That's respectable
To be honest I think there's also the fact that HololiveCN is gone and so is a big part of the chinese audience and now english audience is getting stronger and stronger. But she has a hardworking mind set she will get by.
Now that Holo EN is a big hit and more generations are certainly in the horizon, Botan has more reasons and motivation to learn English over Chinese, I have a feeling that she'll drop Chinese completely.
@harrytorrecilla It also helped that she's actually interacted with the HoloEN girls, which would give her more motivatiom to learn. She could theoretically do off collabs with Coco, Kiara, and Mori as well (assuming they don't live too far from each other).
The JP girls were honestly great during the collab. They always want to better their streams so I applaud Botan's drive to better herself but the collab really was amazing and fun. This is coming from someone who understands maybe 10% of what JP Hololive says.
Very true and inspirational words from Botan here. You can't get better or learn something unless you start doing so.
Yes I completely agree
I was saying this all the time, and i really got better at things I wasn't very good at before
Some deep shit
That whole bit was a big "Mood" moment for me, i feel like the bit about not learning something if lacking passion for it is something that always comes back to bite me
I feel her an Amelia could destroy tons of people in FPS games like CSGO or Apex Legends.
She said she was in a semi-professional team for Overwatch or something (maybe some US college-level team), so she definitely can become good. Botan, incidently, was also in a team, for Rainbow 6 I think.
This is based on personal observation from their Apex Legends stream :
Amelia is good, but she's more like Matsuri level of good. She will need a lot to catch up to the likes of Ayame, Towa, and serious mode Aqua
Botan... well... I'll keep it vague, but she was (and probably still) involved in a pro scene. Unfortunately, we couldn't see her perspective when playing with Nene, but she destroys!!
Her skill is on a whole different level. Also do note that she reached Master in ranked, the only Hologirl I've known of to reach that.
Botan is/was a pro fps player
@@indiexanna ur description sounds like an anime Arc ahahaha
They should bring Matsuri aswell. Lol
botan seems so chill, i want to learn japanese asap so i can fully enjoy her streams
Some of the EN girls do "Studying Japanese" streams. I've only watched random clips, and I've already picked up on a few things.
@@pumpjackmcgee4267 yeah like coco, ahaha
Start with katakana, learn hiragana, end with kanji. Fuck romanji.
Botan is a fast learner, knowing her flaws and trying to improve more. She'll be able to do it
Yo this girl has the thought process of successful people
And also that round when she blindly accused out of nowhere by Polka for just being unusually cuter. Lmao
Polka was great in that collab, and Botan being so confused when Polka accused her was seriously hilarious
Its really frustanting learning other lenagauges at the begining
In brazil our education system isn't the best, but in english is even worse, i learned really basic stuff and couldn't form a single sentence even after 5 years, its was so frustating
I really tried to learn, i'm 100% self taught, i used google translator, i didn't wanted to pay money and i spend 3 years and i still think my english isn't the best(But english still much easier than portuguese)
To learn a new lengauge the most important is having a goal, i wanted to understand an certain chanell on youtube and by this simple goal i can write whole coments like this one
This is actually quite motivational for me.
Kind of the same, although i ahve actually manage to get the highest level in english (the level where it basically says, you can even teach english in a school now if you want) it was mostly a self conscious effort by watching english videos and browsing english websites like reddit
yeah you can really do wonders when you have a goal in mind. My english is also mostly self taugh and I learned it by trying to play english RPGs when I was young, which was like 20 years ago and there was no Google at the time so what I had to do was sit in front of my tv with a dictionary in my hand flipping from page to page trying to find each word on the screen to translate and guess the meaning of it based on context
Honestly even if you DO have good english classes, you're still gonna need to practice by reading/watching stuff in english
I almost gave up trying to learn Japanese until I changed my goal from "become fluent in Japanese within a few years" to "see how much Japanese you can learn in your lifetime." It's ok if I reach a certain point and can't progress further. I can look back and see the progress I made and be happy with that. Also, seeing Botan and others put effort into learning English motivates me to keep studying Japanese. Good luck everyone.
as someone whos English isnt the first language, I fully agree on how she felt, there were millions of times where I either couldn't express my feelings or lost an argument because I couldn't fully translate what I was thinking. but I do well when Im just by myself. Language fear is really a horrible thing to have cause it limits you as a person.
How hard was it to learn another language? I really wanna learn Japanese and Russian but don’t really know where to start or really if I can even do it.
@@rethies1599 I feel like language is a type of learning curve that is so hard to achieve when you're really not into it.
It takes every motivation and persistence you have in you to make it. Having a hobby revolving around the language you're trying to learn is a nice first step. hololive and anime for example
Okay, that makes a lot of sense. Because if you aren’t trying to use it, you won’t progress. And having stuff that coincides with it will have you using it. Thanks a lot, I’ll try my best to learn a language or two when I finally get some stuff off my plate that I need I need to worry about.
@@rethies1599 depends on the language, too.
Being, say, spanish, it's easier to learn english than japanese or russian.
@@rethies1599 I started learning japanese recently, if you wanna know where to start this is a good guide www.tofugu.com/learn-japanese/
“If I don’t have the passion to speak English, I can’t speak it.”
This is pretty respectable. She understands what she wants. I can easily imagine her watching the VOD, thinking about communication, and before the advantages of learning English or whether she has the time to dedicate to studying it, the first thing she thinks is “Do I personally want to learn English?” When she debuted, I got the sense she was very similar to me, and that perception has only increased since. She asked Mio about her concerns of whether she should be more energetic, like other streamers, and now, she’s thinking about developing more skills and honestly thinking which ones she wants so she can focus her efforts.
“If I don’t begin to speak English, nothing is gonna change. The same is true for singing. If I don’t begin singing, I’m never going to get better at it.”
This is something we all have to learn. I certainly had to learn this, anyway. Of course, there’s the question of opportunity too. Nothing but my own laziness kept me from working out for so long. But Hololive has opened a big door for me to finally start learning Japanese in earnest because I have actual speakers to listen to, chats to read, and fellow learners I can work with and pool our efforts.
This is why I love botan. She is so grounded and tells it like it is. There is not lying in her.
I have no doubt that Ame was feeling the same way. I'm so bad at languages myself and am always impressed by those that learn another. ^.^
Knowing that I watched the stream in Ame's perspective, I felt that, with hints of being quiet most of the time.
This is why I really like Botan. I personally don't expect her to feel obligated to learn English. It is a useful skill for her to learn and she has the motivation to practice. The same goes for her singing. I'm okay with botan as she is but her drive to improve is also a great quality to have
I’m feeling a botan English only in the newsroom future XD
The way she said communication, I can't wait for her english to improve.
"Then I had a lot to reflect on in my communication. I wish I could speak more English. There was so much to reflect on. I reflected alone after the stream."
-me everytime I finish watching a vtuber stream, but Japanese instead of English.
Ya. The problem is the only resources widely known are shitty paid models. If there were more free services that just threw the knowledge out there then it would be much easier.
@@YuyuHakurei Imabi is a decent website that's densely loaded with grammar lessons and examples in each lesson. It's a little tangential, but it's not a bad website to check out if you can follow along with it and already know basic Japanese.
@@yokedswole Thanks. It's actually stupidly hard to find good ones for this stuff.
@@YuyuHakureiImabi's pretty well known for being extremely detailed in its information to the point where it's overwhelming. If you ever get to that point, I've heard Wasabi does a pretty good job at explaining things a bit easier, albeit less specific and detailed. Here's a link:

knowing what you lack is half the battle
the first step was already taken
By far my favorite part of this whole VTuber thing are the times when they get introspective. Seeing how other cultures really think and deal with things like regret is such an eye opening experience.
Botan getting her training arc already, can't wait to see the progression.
Truer words have never been spoken. Makes me reflect on myself, if I wanna learn Japanese, since 5 years ago, gotta put in the effort while I still can since I can no longer take classes in college.
Botan is so awesome, one of my favorites. You can see how mature she is in, I like that she is willing to improve. I hope for the best to her
the chicken was a really good on the spot translator
She’s talking like a anime protagonist.
I guess you can say Botan felt like a *discommunication alien*
"I'll make more efforts, driven by regret."
That outro makes me feel relaxed
This is what I love about Hololive idols, there isn't a single exception, each and everyone of them make some sort of effort to always try to communicate with the overseas people. Some people might disagree, but I don't see this same level of effort from other famous vtuber agencies, sadly.
EN really gave some of the girls some ambition to learn English, really feels kinda proud and heart warming
The way botan says among us is so goddamn cute
She probably is referring to the fact that she was the one from 5th gen that communicated the least with the EN girls, and I get it, I thought it was going to be a hard stream for them from the beginning, it was even hard for me as much as it was fun because I don't like those kind of awkward situations. Kiara was a blessing, seriously.
Calli is studying hard to get better at Japanese, and I guess Amelia too, so I hope 5th gen also gets better at English, since they debuted during this "international boom".
Well, it's only normal, they never had the neccessity to study another language besides their own, and barely learning their own, you have the example of Subaru who doesn't even know kanji and Kiara approached to her writting in perfect kanji. When I learned english it was because I needed to know to enjoy my videogames, most of them didn't have any kind of translations to Spanish and the ones that had subtitles in Spanish had them with bad grammar or almost translated directly word by word, no syntaxis at all. Then I had to look for a job, the better paid jobs in my country are the ones that require a second and even a third language, so there's my neccessity if I want to have a wealthy life with barely any economical issues.
We need better jobs so we can simp harder!
But I agree. I also had to learn english because my fav games weren't available in spanish or the dub was plain bad. And here I am learning jp because I'm a Spanish speaker watching eng subbed japanese videos. World's getting smaller :c
Subaru doesn't know kanji? Wtf?
in my case and I think it's the same for most of us that spanish is our native lenguage, the ps1 teached us better than school did . I got interested in english when I buy my first final fantasy game.thanks to that and my music taste I learned english almost by myself
fellow spanish here :)
@@ArayaRetta I'm a Puerto Rican who wasn't even taught spanish. I can see what you mean. xDXDXD
Polka's "Oh sh*t we're all blondes" is probably one of the funniest thing that I've seen in Hololive
Botan is really interesting as a person bc you can clearly see she wants to be the best at everything she does - especially because she's considered the 'leader' of 5th Gen.
She probably saw Lamy introducing herself in English (she said she had more written down but was too nervous), as well as Polka and Nene trying to knock down the language barrier and thought 'I'm not doing enough'.
It's a really admirable personality trait (if albeit very difficult to be happy with). Kiara is fluent, and Calli and Ina tried their best, too. We are starting to see other JP members make the leap to study English, too.
Of course, I'll enjoy Botan just as much if she never actually acts upon this, but I have a feeling she's gonna really want to put herself above her peers.
I think she's one of those folks that gets extremely good at something, given time. I mean, did you guys see her answer Choco-sensei's quiz with ease? Really looking forward to her conversations with overseas fans.
That drive for self-improvement really makes me happy to see in the hololive girls. Same for Pekora english with Moona too.
I have full respect for people who are able to reflect on their actions and tried to improve themselves. Botan is the real deal.
what a solid mindset Botan has
This is actually a good mindset in realizing you won't get better at something or be confident at it, unless you start doing it. Half the battle is realizing that, the other half is just actually doing it.
I really hope Botan doesn't feel forced into english. Her passion for things she enjoys, is why she's so enjoyable to watch. Regret isn't a positive motivator.
反省で動画見返すのはFPSガチ勢の貫禄
Hope the EN girls will also learn more japanese. A stream where EN speak japanese and JP speak english might be... fun?
Japan: "We did it. We've won. Cultural victory is ours."
Everyone else: "What did it cost?"
Japan: "We Anglosphere now."
To be honest it would be funny that vtubers became the start of Japan becoming more open to other cultures
@@TheBaxes Since it's kinda-but-not-really gotten attention, it might be just a piece of the bridge
Their country is still hard centered around Japanese and doesn't really leave room for other cultures in their country though. This is literally the first thing they were ever really that open to share with the world as a whole. I'd imagine in the future everyone in the world is going to be bilingual to some degree.
@@TheBaxes You'd be surprised. They borrow a lot of words from a variation of countries. Their word for part time job is German, 'arubaito.' (arbeit) Their word for TV is 'terebi.' (television) And they make references to classical arts that your average guy wouldn't have known. (Art and music) They are deeply protective of their culture, but that doesn't mean they don't like other cultures. I imagine it's a "that is that, and this is this" situation.
I like how a comment that was supposed to be funny ha ha turned to a discussion about how Japan perceive other cultures. Truly cultured individuals here.
The more I see of Botan the more I am amazed how much of a treasure Hololive got with her. I always wanted to stream but never dared. Should I ever find the courage, I will take her as example.
Botan calls herself a lazy lion, but usually, this kind of character if they have the motivation to do something, they won't be satisfied until she excel at it
She has two modes. Just have fun mode and serious mode. When she tries she destroys whatever it is and that's alienating/intimidating, so she adopted an "I don't care" attitude
It's moments like this, when Botan gives a glimpse of the depth of her philosophy or intelligence, that make me wonder...what drew her to become a vtuber? She seems like the type to be out there innovating some super serious field of work.
Maybe she likes games and streaming.
Botan's Minecraft house looks super cozy.
I've been using DuoLingo for a full week, now.
The journey of a 1,000 miles begins with the first step.
Botan English only stream? LET'S GO!
I know this is kinda old but i still can't get over of how funny looking Is long Gura on the Amon9Us thumbnail.
I dont have a doubt in my heart that if the Lion studies, she'll reach her goal in record speed
That was deep
All of these girls are very powerful role models. Just astonishing.
I like the way she speaks, calm and collected, unlike many other vtubers who exaggerate a lot.
Im glad to see this. First because we now know that she does make attempts in improving herself, and is very frank about what she wants to do. Second because her wanting to do this means that she had a lot of fun during the session.
From what I can tell about Botan I expect her to make fast progress at learning english, depending on her goalpost of course, but wherever she sets her eyes i'm sure she'll reach rapidly
I love how much she wants to improve! and while she struggles with English, Botan was tweeting the other members after, - she's putting the effort in.
You've got this, lazy lion :)
On the inverse, the other Holo EN girls aside from Kiara barely spoke any Japanese, either. They were probably nervous as well.
All of them have done at least some degree of learning Japanese before, too.
She'll probably do well, she seems like the person who could achieve anything if she really tries
It was fun to watch even with the language barrier. I hope they do more.
Spoken like a true gamer
botan singing streams! let's gooooooooooooo!
I can see Botan will "Hey Moona"-ing all the way after this lol
What a cute and sensitive girl and that outro is a banger
good it would be cool to see her more in colab with the en members
Review own game for higher ranks. True gamer indeed
So basically this boils down to 'do or do not, there is no try.'
Botan confirmed the Yoda of Hololive.
Yoda debuted in Star Wars Episode 5. Coincidence? I think not!
Botan aunque no se comunicó mucho aún así trato algo.
, Ysi al reflejar en el vídeo puede ver qué posee una debilidad y quiere mejorar es bueno para ella.
Botan te deseo suerte , Good luck Botan
Everyone: Understandable, have a great day.
She might want to try among us with fans like what pol and lamy did so she can interact and learn english at the same time
Basically Botan wants to get better at singing because she wants to learn English because of among us
Can we just talk about how Botan is VOD reviewing her Among Us gameplay for a second? This Lion really is a gamer in every way.
She's right on the money. If you want to be able to do something, you have to start doing it. Progress is made through consistent effort over time, even if it's only a little each day.
Man, since Vtubers started picking up this game, would be great if someone would make a tutorial video to make it easier for JP participants and EN participants to communicate.
The tutorial should:
1) Translate the different areas of the map to JP (electrical, reactor),
2) Talk about the different colours of the participants (colours like cyan may be confused with blue, as seen from Miko's stream),
3) Cover some short phrases that EN players would understand ('pink is sus/not sus/safe', 'pink was with me at -location-', 'i saw pink with `another player` at -location-, 'pink left me after -location-', 'i move a lot but did not see -player-).
since the jp people are trying to learn english just to watch/communicate with hololive en how bout we study japanese aswell bois
Your idol is learning a diff language to talk to you. What are you doing in return?
SHRIMPING
Thanks for the translation ! What Botan have said was true...its like if I don't have the passion to speak Japanese,I can't speak it.Although I had learnt it for quite a moment,I just can't.There's like no motivation tho.But I'll keep on improve it smh by pushing myself to do so.
our cute lion is just to wholsome
I mean if they were to grow, they're gonna have to eventually. Even Sora, Roboco, Marine, Rushia, Aki, Pekora, Aqua and Shion and many others is encouraging oversea viewers to speak up in her chat.
Because let's face it, Hololive is an international brand now, they're gonna have to adapt if they were to survive in their line of industry. Even if its something to Elite English or Maringlish's effect, then I'm sure EN members and audience would certainly still appreciate it.
Fear and lack of motivation hinders you from learning a new language, especially with a language that is mostly a spoken language. I'm sure Botan will get through that now that she has, somewhat, a motivation to learn English.
okay but she sings perfectly lol.
I might surmise that part of her pain is due the type of games she's been playing, before the Hololive influence.
In FPS gaming, with limited English, you can get by with simple words like the way you convey commands.
But in Among Us, those words do not convey well in a debate format, as you have to also speak words at length.
It is the same problem with being a tourist. You're out of your comfort zone, you're scared. You can communicate with the limited vocabulary you have. But the moment you need to synthesize sentences with grammar, that's where the difficulty comes in. More so when you've have had great encounters with someone, but your inability to communicate means you'll have to regret not being able to enhance the experience of the moment.
Botan isn't alone, neither are we. But at least Botan can try again because Hololive EN and her friends will be around for the future
You know, for the big girl that she is, you really just want her to squat down, pat her head, ruffle those ears and say "It's alright".
@@strayfu It's the other way around. We, tell her.
ganbare botan san Pog
She said she was studying Chinese before, I wonder if it was related to streaming or something else. If it was to attract the Chinese market I would assume that aspiration is dead now. So yea, it would be a good time for her to start studying English.
Amazing what a month of being abused by frothing chinese antis will do to one's perspective.
We could start by giving her linus tech tips channel
It seems like the holoEN girls are trying to brush up on their japanese too so hopefully they will fill in holes for each other soon and be able to communicate more fluidly. I think its awesome they are willing to even try and get past that obstacle i have a lot of respect for both sides. These vtubers have been a blessing im excited to see them all more
she should do more collab streams tbh.even in fps games.oujo, matsuri, towa, aqua, amelia, oujo and oujo.it will but a lot more fun and will also help me on my japanese.its usually more useful to use the languages you want to learn or her people speak with it
This is pretty hype. I would love to see Botan try and communicate with English speaking fans more. I absolutely love her but most of the time I have no clue what she's saying.
I do have a plan on when and how to start studying Japanese but it seems I won't be able to start until next year because of uni.
Its wonderful hearing that Botan is gonna study English i really hope she can do it and have fun! Maybe she can collab with Calli and it can be a back and forth of learning Japanese for Calli and English for Botan but either way I just want our La Lion to be happy ❤
