- Tombs of Amascut is the third raid released by Jagex in August of 2022, and in this video we look into the backstory of the kharidian empire and how it's downfall led Amascut to turn from the Goddess of Rebirth to the Goddess of Destruction.
FYI, the raids gameplay, not my best run of TOA (especially Akkha) but we move
There's some speculation regarding if we'll ever see Menaphos, which I hope we do.
Hope you guys enjoy the video, and don't forget to like and subscribe :)

Thanks to the hardworking members of the OSRS Wiki for compiling information and make it tenfold easier to make these videos.

If I had to pin a person to be the mysterious shadow it would probably be a Elidnis. There’s no one else left with enough power or motivation to help stop Amascut. In the rs3 lore Elidnis Attained a veil that could hide her from the edicts at the cost of sacrificing her identity Which can explain the mysterious shadow angle.
That's a really good thought - I knew that the gods were banished once Guthix enacted the edicts, but I've never really looked into RS3 lore, so I definitely see where you're coming from! It would make sense, as you said, who else would have enough motivation aside from her creator?
Hopefully they'll continue the storyline in some regard
Id like to see a video on zeah and the xercian empire, especially chambers of xeric
Will be sure to add both of those on the list - Think Kourend's history could be split nicely, will need to get into Chambers aswell!
Great video, always loved osrs lore
quality video thank you for making this
Your videos are awesome man, I’ve been enjoying them a lot. What is your process for finding lore? I’ve been mostly a space bar holder when it comes to quests aside from a few interesting story lines but I’d like to work on my lorehound skills!
Thank you! Really appreciate the support. A lot of the lore is dialogue based honestly but theres books in-game that have a lot of tales from other parts of Gielinor. An example is the bookshelf in the Myth's guild, you can find six books there of varying stories but it was initially there where we found out about Varlamore's backstory with Imafore's betrayal. And I need to mention the Wiki aswell, of course - probably the best fountain of information you could have
Finally I understand
Used the only clip of the troops fucking up akkha Simon says phase
Had to be done lad need some comedic effect
osrs lore is so cool
Definitely a lot of depth behind it!
Kharidian storyline is the most ludicrous. Just getting down who is who takes ages and its not like all of these characters add a lot to the lore. They ve really overdone it with this one. Ironically, the desert out of all the regions just had to have the most complicated and boring lore. Too bad Zaros didnt manage to conquer it. Maybe his reign would have erased all this bs.
