I went into the final stage of labour to this tune in my headphones ... and it will stay with me forever the feeling that I had .. bridging me to coming a mother for the first time .. such an important piece of music for me and my daughter 💞
Nathan Thomas Deery Couldn't agree more! It truly needs to be experienced live. I watch every new "Says" video on TH-cam to bring me back memories from that sensation.
Nathan Thomas Deery I strongly believe that every Nils Frahm's live performance is genuinely unique. Being there when he plays is nothing less than revelation. Having seen him play I am not going to be the same person again...
+Nathan Thomas Deery i was on a concert from him too a few month ago a video cant capture the immense soundwall wich i felt from my toes up to my ears when those sweeping waves are comming i just can recommend seeing him live
I will do a solo hiking somewhere remote and at night I will look at the sky and listen to this music. Such an extraordinary thing, I am alive on a planet somewhere in this universe listening to this extraordinary song.
The thing about Nils Frahm is that he isn't just about some kind of prodigiousness... this is absolute and pure feeling... and mad looping skills of course :)
This is the best version of “Says”, nothing compared to Spaces and other live shows. Nils is a sound pilot in his own spaceship. This piece is a culminai point, a stepping stone and a dive into another universe breeding other universes and other universes of sound, light and color. Du inspirierst mich Nils, Danke schön!
Watching this stoned and wow what a talented guy omg, imagine how smart and dedicated he has to be to understand each piece of technology he's using + the instruments, years of work coming to life. Genius!
Nil's music is so massively emotional and evocative, and if you give it the time and respect in deserves, transcending. I can never grow tired of hearing it.
I've listened to a lot of beautiful electronica in the past 30 years but Says seems to be the incredible ruling track of them all. Mind blown every single time I hear any version he does. Says basically is a slowly building aural orgasm
Had the pleasure of seeing this performed live recently. I love the fact there is not a laptop computer in sight and he is just using analogue synths to create this masterpiece.
when a master plays a masterpice...I truely love his work and for me 'says' sounds like made in heaven (yeaah....I know a little cheesy...but I don't care)
Just had the privilege of discovering this guy recently which led me to this masterpiece. Sounds awesome on my home cinema system. Had a really bad day so this is perfect for unwinding to release the anxiety and stress. 🙏 to the world 🌍
Must be an extraordinary musician. I hope I can hear and see him in the next time! Wonderful music. He looses himself in music! What a miracle Nils Frahm is! Wonderful, marvellous, genious!
A perfect soundtrack for the creation of the Universe: from it's slow and progressive formation till' the Earth's Big Bang (with the Big Bang's explosion as the applauses) dude... Amazing!
I heard a snippet of this on desert island disks on Radio 4 today, 16/10/15 and this was a choice of Lemn Sissay, More than good enough for me to stop work for a while and just listen for the minute or so they played, was pleasantly surprised to see, when I found this, that you get another 9 1/2 minutes, sends tingles up the spine, pure bliss.
I’m not religious much, but if I can imagine what it was like when God created the universe and everything between it, I can almost feel this sound playing as it all came about
Wow... Nils for sure knows how to make each piano melody so mighty musical beautiful...... so unique. As humanity perceives and understands such powerful knowledge, a meaningful wiser intellectual evolution develops and grows. To you, what is knowledge?
He's got an adidas shoe with a sock on his right foot and no shoe, with no sock on the left foot. What am I missing? (Incredible sounds by the way! Just phenomenal.)
Эта музыка играет в фильме К звёздам! Я просто в восторге, и в шоке)) Как раз большой, насыщенный космос под неё и представлял. It a song playing in the film “ Ad astra” with Brad Pitt!!!

I was there, and this video doesn't come close to do doing justice to how extraordinary this was live.. never experienced anything like it
Nathan Thomas Deery Agreed. Can't compare it to the live performance, but I'm glad the video is on here.

Seen him 6 times, and every time is diffrent, amazing, mind blowing. Makes me happy for weeks.
this, for me, is the perfect example to show to someone, the importance/power of a sub-bass... absolutely beautiful.
This is a Masterpiece
For ever you can’t put this in words it not necessary

If this species will ever make it to the other stars, this song should mark the journey.
Tuna Tezgel .The secret space programme, is alive and well....

MUSICAL GENIUS. Seen him in London and he changed my life forever
This is unreal . this is beyond anything I have ever known..
This song elicits an emotional response that is completely unique. 7:17 always gets me.

Have heard this song dozens of times but this version got me again and made the hair on my arms dance 🕺
You can see how he gets into it, Like he becomes one with the synths and piano he's playing. He's playing straight from the heart.
This guy is a legend...saw him 3 times in Amsterdam
I saw him a few time in SF, CA. Fantastic performer!
Had the pleasure of seeing this performed live recently. I love the fact there is not a laptop computer in sight and he is just using analogue synths to create this masterpiece.
JFC this is so beautiful, it hurts.
Was there, and it was AMAZING! Especially considering the roadies broke two of his synths and he still went on! Incredible!
An extraordinary piece of music. Saw him live just over a year ago. Incredible. His music is sublime. Thank you Nils.
I saw him a couple of nights later at Wilderness. It was incredible, just incredible. This track performed live will stay with me forever...
Outstanding performance, like this Berlin school style and the Piano play!! This is music for the soul!!!!!
This was so god damn awesome, nothing beats the live experience
The build of emotion in this is its beauty.. .
The public is under his spell... Absolutely magnificent.
when a master plays a masterpice...I truely love his work and for me 'says' sounds like made in heaven (yeaah....I know a little cheesy...but I don't care)
greatest musician of our time
I can't stop listening. The sheer beauty and brilliance of Frahm's work and performance(s) are almost too much to handle. Genius.
The best NF track, in my humble opinion.
If I experienced this live, I'd probably die!
This was such an amazing performance, thanks for putting it on.
Nils music is highly emotional. I listen with focus and start to cry... good tears!
I was at this the other night. This video doesn't do justice to the live experience though.
Love it. Thank you.

incredible sound ! or sounds ! I listen this song every week.... on the radio or on personal computer...
I think this might be the best live version i’ve watched. (though I haven’t seen him irl.)
Still the version on his album "spaces" is still the best version he did IMHO
Nick Warren Sound Garden album has this amazing piece in the mix. Spine tingling
Where? Help me find pls
09:20 gives me goosebumps across my whole body!
wanted to go but as ever work got in the way. ......will make it next time Nils does a UK show for sure......
Spacetrip und Kammerkonzert zugleich - erstaunlich!
Incredible energy in a so delicate melody! Great!

dude... Amazing!
or the end of it
I always think of this piece as the soundtrack to that time in the future when I fly my spaceship right into a black hole.

+sannox01 check out his other stuff as well; its all beautiful :)
+Robin M Jones I will :-)
I heard that this song brought the Neimoidian Viceroy to tears
Incredible. No other words.
I love how imperfect this version is, it has more feeling to it
With his skill I wonder if they are imperfections. I’m watching for at least 20th time. Always finding something new.
❤❤❤❤❤❤
OUTSTANDING
Looking forward to join a concert one Day. This is fantastic🤩

how to make a few arpeggios in to one of the best ambient tracks ever written
6:55 you can see the low end shaking the camera and then quickly cutting away from a different angle lmao

He is using his bare foot to play the Moog Taurus pedals
Holy. Fucking. Shit.
Gosh!
I’ve just seen the official video that goes with this song where the scarecrow and the robotic dancer fall in love, its mind blowing.
