Taylor 310 CE high action and electronics fun

I purchased a 318 Taylor very much like this. It had very high string height. The neck was straight. Because Taylors are bolt on necks, I simply purchased a Taylor wedge set, and reset the neck and achieved perfect set up.

did you loosen the strings before tightening the truss rod?

Doesn't Taylor have the NT neck system that you can use shims to lower the strings and change the neck angle

Taylor "New Technology" necks are all well and good, but this is not one of them. Thanks for your observation.
