Welcome to Day 9 of my journey as a chef on a luxurious yacht! Join me as we navigate a day of unexpected twists as I continue my culinary adventure on the high seas.
Come along with me for another day of delicious culinary adventures on board! We kickstart the day with a satisfying breakfast of omelets, bacon, and parfaits. After some unexpected hiccups with the tender, it's just the crew, and for lunch, I've prepared a delightful sushi and poke spread. For dinner, I'm serving up a 5-spice pan-seared duck with Asian noodles, followed by two creami delights from the Ninja Creami: a berry cheesecake and a pistachio for dessert.
Make sure to subscribe to my channel to follow my adventure and receive updates on the incredible recipes and dining experiences I'll be sharing from the yacht. Hit the notification bell so you don't miss any upcoming episodes filled with tantalizing flavors and breathtaking moments. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Wish the videos were longer and came out more often. They’re very relaxing.
Your channel has ALSO become one of my favorite channels to watch! I just had brain surgery and I’ve got a long recovery, and just watching you cook and seeing what life on a yacht is like has been such a good distraction.
Here’s hoping you are fully recovered and feeling better soon!
@@bricktastic2602 aww thank you so much my friend 😊
Yes! Once I clean the kitchen it is closed and no one better go in there 👍🏽😊
Your videos have been really calming to me recently! Thank you for sharing your day to day
❤️
That tip about starting the duck breast in a cold pan is the best. I could use that for chicken thighs. As I'm getting older, I prefer the thighs because they are juicier and have a better taste than breasts! Thank you! I love watching people cook and incorporate tips into my kitchen.
"The boys" Lol. 😂 Love your videos. Your voice is so calming, along with the blue ocean background.
Cool that you can u use those expensive ingredients for the crew! Love to see how how rooms are detail cleaned!
That is nice but my question is do the owners eat food from Costco? Saw a bunch of Kirkland labels on products. That’s one place we never buy food from-not much organic food is found there. Jmho. Their meat is loaded with hormones!
I have been loving the long form videos!!! I found you on reels and you have taught me so much about cooking that I didn’t know. But I have kiddos and they don’t like much so I can’t make all this yummy food 🍱 😢 your voice is so soothing and your energy is calming. Thank you for starting this channel 🫶🏽🙌🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Thank you ❤
100% agree we eat with our eyes first. Presentation is everything.
Love, love, love your content! I daydream about having Abby as my personal chef. ❤️
I am relatively new and I have not seen the garden tour if there is one. I have a little garden and would love to see Abbys!
You make it look so easy! I love everything you make ❤️
Thank you! Cheers!
Cucumber is also good in those sushi rolls.
Really enjoy your videos. You are so talented and seem like a very nice person. Keep up the amazing work. Thank you for sharing life on a yacht! ❤
I love your channel… I’d love to know what it feels like to have a life where you can have a boat and crew standing by for you😊
Your an amazing chef. They are lucky to have you onboard 🤙
I could watch your videos all day long. Loving the longer vids!
I like you longer videos the best, because it shows how you prepared the food you search in the shorts❤
❤thank you! You so sweet and hard worker. Your passion is contagious. Loving you’re videos…. 😅 stay safe out there
loved the duck dish
I just can’t get enough of your videos! Any possible way you can do a video on how to make quick healthy meals for a single person that works 10 hour shifts 6 days a week at one job along with 6 hours 3 nights a week at a second job. (2 days a week I put in 16 hours a day).
Eel sauce is my absolute favorite sauce to eat with any kind of Asian food! The sushi lunch looked absolutely delicious! I'm definitely going to save this to try to recreate at home. Thank you for sharing!
Of course! :)
I love these videos! Your videos are some of the only ones i watch all the way through.
Wonderful video. Thanks for including all the details of your meal prep.
I love watching your videos thank you so much!!!! They also calm me down !!!!!
Your vids give me courage to try new things when cooking. The creami was a no brainer!!
It’s so cool to see you in the nyt after following you for a while!
I absolutely love this channel... learning so much!🤩
These are the most delightful videos! Thank you!
Thank you!! I love your videos Little Chef ❤
Your calm demeanour and sense of fun in the kitchen - (using up older fruit and veggies in soups and icecreams/cakes) ,, is how is I cook too.
Except you are influencing many young people while you cook on a yacht :)
From British Columbia, Canada - safe travels~
Great video 🙂! The food looks delicious! All your videos are very relaxing to me.
Ooouuu weeeee that coffee looked delightful!!! 😋
Excellent video…informative…interesting…artful..and fun to watch. Ty ❤😂🎉
Glad you enjoyed it 😊
Good morning little chef!
My mom used to make us Salmon cakes. She used canned salmon, crushed crackers, an egg mix Pat into cakes and fry. Yumm
Don’t look Abby we ate them with ketchup 😂
Love your vids ❤
Hi Abby, I'm.disabled mum 2 girls 17/25, and I'm not too bad at cooking but get stuck on the same old boring food. My girls love Asian/Korean food, but not too spicy. Thankyou for sharing your recipe Asian noodle stir fry at the end. I'm going to try and do that sauce with chicken. Another brilliant video. Hi from Ascot Berkshire UK.
Nice and well done videos! It's been very interesting to see your life on the yacht. Keep up! 💪🏼🌞🌊👌🏼💯
We put a bit of sesame oil on our fingertips/knife blade and it helps with no rice sticking to the fingers or the knife.
Your videos are amazing, just like your food.❤❤ I am learning so much from your videos. Thank you😊😊
Thank you so much! 😊
That pistashio trick is one I use. 😊 Love your videos!
I'm enjoying your videos very much, what a wonderful world you live and work in.😊
wow you and your crew eat better that I do. you make everything so easy. im always amazed every time I watch you. KUDOS!!!!
WOW. The crew sure does eat well. My brother did prop changes and he flew to the Bahamas all the time with props to install.
Jelly Bean ice cream!!! LOL! Always exciting to see a new episode is up and ready. Bye Little Chef on the High Seas
Your videos are such a vibe! It’s like chilling with a friend! ❤
Stay safe! We are preparing for the hurricane here in N FL! 😩
Stay safe! ❤️
@@abbyinthegalley aww thank you so much and for taking the time to respond!
I watch these before bed, relaxing
You are so inspiring, am a house chef and leaning from you, thank you Brian mclean Va
I really look forward to your videos. I love your recipes.
My favorite channel lately!
Love duck fat for certain dishes! You're right it IS liquid gold.
Korean style sushi rice is to add sesame oil n salt/soy sauce to rice, no vinegar n sugar.
Thurston! 🐶🥰❤️❤️❤️
Hi Abby! I discovered your videos recently and i love them. Thanks for sharing your unusual life! Annouchka from the south of France.
Welcome!!
Gosh that all looked so good! Every video gets better and better. We dont see a lot of your crew mates but I think I would like every one of them, even your captain 😉😁
Thank you so much!! 😊😊
I loved watching belowdecks on tv❤.. you video are awesome ❤..fan from brasil 🇧🇷
Boat parts! HA! It’s hard to find ANYTHING in the Bahamas!
Sending support, love, and kindness from Lexington, Michigan, USA
Have you been sick on the boat? What would the crew/guests eat if you were out of commission? A fancy PB&J?
I really love your videos!❤
My wife loves duck and it looks amazing!!
Love your videos!
Love your videos Little Chef!! Probably 3rd time watching this video lol
Question: When the owner/guests leave earlier than expected, how does it affect your meal planning? Would you have had the "salmon buffet" 😉 if they had stayed?
Yes, I had meat pulled for the next 3 days, so crew is going to eat like kings! 😂
Hi Little Chef, from northern Michigan!
Hope y'all kept safe from the hurricane. Looks like Florida is going to get hit hard 😢
Love your videos
Hi Abby what sriracha was that it seems a lot darker than the stuff we get in Australia cheers James love your videos ❤
Yummmm
Can you get Thurston a little chef hate and apron ! He’s so Dang cute .
Hi from Oz! ❤
Question for you - what do you think to Hexclad I am sure I have seen you using their pans
I love your video. New sub. U are such a hard worker. Do u edit ur own videos?
Abby i love your videos
Calrose all the way, baby, making my mouth water...
Sounds like a great day. I just got a ninja creami today. Are you using recipes from the book or making it up as you go?
All is well during the two hurricanes
What kind of boat are you on?
New to your channel and loving it. Does Thurston belong to the captain or the owner?
I was wondering, what's the vibe like when the owners are on board?
Thurston is such a little dood, im watching it 50% for him haha
Eel sauce is so good that I'd eat it even if it was made from eels 😂 Thanks for informing me that it, in fact, is not haha
😋
What a shame you can't barter some of that salmon for fresh fruit or veg.
I feel bad for Thurston. Why didn't his daddy take him with them?
❤🎉❤ i assume u still teach cooking during school year. when uou say day 9 is this year 1 year 2 or beyond¿
Hi Abby 👋 😊
Hi, little chef!
Has this year been particularly stormy?
Very!
😊
Question can you cook anything other than sushi that's all I ever see you fix
I might be willing to commit heinous crimes to try that duck dish.
You say you're a teacher, the rest of the year. What do your kids say, knowing that you're a chef on a yacht???
They think it is really cool for learn from someone that is actually in the industry. :)
@@abbyinthegalley that's great!!! Have a great time!!!
I do need a lady like you ❤❤❤❤
I love duck so much but always screw it up 😢
Do you ever wear an apron? Just curious, They may be old fashioned but they keep my clothes clean, I'm not a professional like you...
Can you really call filtered coffee "coffee"? It's like say Starbucks sell coffee.
A box of pudding mix? 🤮 toxic chemicals are not my pallet but the rest was ok. So very very American
If you watch her videos, you'd notice she uses quite a bit of pre-prepared food items. 😂😂
When you’re ready to get your land legs back you can work for me. Just the two of us. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom!!!! Oh, you will be near the ocean!!😬😬😬
I like your videos but after 20+ years of being the Captains shore based wife and helping with provisions from what I have seen your dishes are beautiful, hearty and look delicious but lack sophistication that is expected in M/Y service by the owners and guest that we worked with. You do a great job on explaining and providing tips. Viewers who think they can be Chef on Board this is a very simplistic view of your job. Tell them about being on call 24/7 and catering to ridiculous guest demands etc. It’s a really hard job.
What a money pit!
A parts company that is willing to fly parts to fix a rich owners yacht are being smart, that is top notch customer service. That is a business that is not only making great money but also the word of mouth for such excellent service will be enormous. That business is making sure to let the client know that the business owner will move mountains to assure that the owner’s safety is guaranteed and that yacht 🛥️ will be operating ASAP! Also the business is making sure to challenge other similar business to up their game, or they will not be as relevant! Great video!
In the MY industry that is pretty common. My husband was a MY Captain for 20+years and since I was Land Based and handled any extreme parts emergencies. Had to get a prop to Turks one year! Actually got it shipped from storage with a Food Purveyor who flew it to them! Got to be creative sometimes.
So the crew lives on the yacht 🛥️ regardless if anyone else is staying?
