    When a man admits to every single detail of 2 murders, rape, and necrophelia ON TAPE, and a jury can't decide on a verdict, thats a clear indication that our justice system is completely broken. That is not a practical way to handle crime whatsoever. This is mind blowing.

      That's a failure of the jury. What doubt of guilt do you have after a confession? None! They didn't want the responsibility of calling out his guilt.

    • @Ealsante
      @Ealsante 2 ปีที่แล้ว +92

      @@korab.23 Well, there *can* be doubt of guilt after a confession. It's not all that hard to exhaust someone into confessing anything, and it happens all the time. The failure here though is that the confession is detailed and matches up to the physical evidence of the killing, and the jury still hems and haws about it.

Like how they condemn unwanted sexual advances while the Christian Bible seems to think that offering up your daughter to be gang raped is the correct thing to do and that a woman raped in a city should be forced to marry their rapist or be executed with the rapist because she obviously "didn't scream loud enough". And no, it's not just the Satanic bible that I've read. I find religious texts fascinating and will read them for fun sometimes during what little free time I have.

      @Rebekah Brewer: Men have to too. There have been plenty of psycho women who killed men or others because they break up with them. I know of a woman who a few years back murdered the daughter she shared with her ex prior to him picking her up for visitation rights. So, this is not just a women's issue.
      But, with that said, this is not new. And here is the thing. They NEVER WERE DATING. She did all of this over fear of loosing her job. Don't get me wrong, the ability to finance one's own life, especially if a baby is involved is top of that list, but not if you have to go to a wedding with a man you don't want, but who CLEARLY wants you and who have the immaturity to call you a slut or a whore while working? Noooooo. THERE IS NO JOB WORTH THAT!
      This was a heinous crime that did not have to happen, but unfortunately, this young woman let fear guide her and her baby into this evil man's hands. Hands she did not have to be in if she just said..."Sorry, I know this puts my job at risk, but, it is inappropriate for me to go with you to your sister's wedding. Both professionally as you are my boss and I am your co-worker. And personally as I do not know your sister."

I’m not trying to blame the first victim and I hope it does not come off that way. It’s just sad, the whole thing. He could have stopped at any moment and I’m sure they would have helped him find the care he needed for this urge he had to attack women but he was set to “have her”. After he killed her and was like “well I might as well see her naked” I knew this guy was a future serial killer. I believe his remorse is knowing what others will think of him not because he killed that young mother. Real men have a inherent need to protect women and young kids, that’s why guys that harm pregnant women and kids are at risk in prison.

Voluntary intoxication was his defense so the question was, was he too drunk to form intent to kill. Either way, it’s still messed up but the DA was ill-prepared for the voluntary intoxication defense at the first trial. I was her friend and went to both trials. I personally did not know about the defense until I was on my way up to Wisconsin for the first trial. Up until then I thought he was using insanity. I don’t know when the DAs office found out about the new defense, but he did not present that much evidence to try and prove how drunk he was that night at the first trial to try and show that he was NOT too drunk to form intent to kill. The second trial, however, the DA brought up more evidence to show that he was not too drunk to form intent, such as witness testimony from the wedding. It's the best way to get the truth from these people you have to pamper them make them think it's normal alot quicker than confronting them then they become defensive and won't talk.
      They are wounded remember life made them do this you need to empathise with them before
      you lock them up. Sadly LE are used to hearing these shocking details and can discuss them
      calmly in a way we could not.

      @@markD5150 I don't see a difference though. Unborn babies are a weird subject for me, I don't see them as anything special. I am not a psychopath or anything but kids just aren't my thing, thus unborn babies are no different than a person, I almost just see a pregnant woman being killed as a single person. The baby is not even added on. 🤷‍♀️ Babies are basically just a parasite(in a way) until they are born, just an extension of the mother. Idk, I don't really know how to explain how I feel about it without sounding like a heartless psycho🤦‍♀️. I swear I have a heart.

    I was “let go” from my management job after refusing to go away to a work conference in another state alone with my old boss/business owner that felt extremely nervous around. He was an alcoholic and very misogynistic. This validates my feelings of saying I can’t go even though he held my career over my head.
    I cannot fathom what this poor girl went through and her family. Being drunk is never under any circumstances a bypass of poor behavior like this. He made the choice to hurt her. Regardless of his coherence.

      Because there’s sick women out there who find murderers like this creep “cute” and “hot” and excuse their crimes because of that. Just look up Ted Bundy, who had women groupies during his trial. Or Chris Watts, who murdered his 7 month pregnant wife and two toddler daughters. He gets love letters in prison from women (some of these women have children!). One letter was put online, from a woman in her late 30s with young children; she wrote to Watts and processed her love for him and told him she didn’t care what he did, and that she gets mad when she sees people talking shit about him online. These kinds of women are sick.
