This one is very fun to play, though I must admit that I need to slow it down to get most the notes. That cog wheel really does help to adjust the tempo for playing along. 😊

Thanks John! Slowing it down with that settings wheel is definitely the way to go!

Great! Are you playing a tenor here?

I’m thinking that the letters underneath the individual notes are superfluous and a bit fussy. Otherwise really good ! Looks a bit strange when printed off.

Ok, I have a lot of people tell how helpful they find this, I’m happy to send you a copy without the note names

Do you have a video teaching how to subtone on tenor? I have a problem with my jaw and am unable to follow the usual instructions about pulling the lower jaw back somewhat. I have an underbite and cannot move my lower jaw back even a fraction of a millimeter. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thank you.

Hi Vivian, at the moment I don’t have a video on subtone, I’m not sure about you jaw. I would say try to follow all the other steps to create a sub tone sound. Also, maybe try a stronger reed, this may help you too. Hope that helps!

@@OnlineSaxAcademy Thank you for your so prompt reply. I have read just about everything that has been written and all videos demonstrating the subtone technique. My ultimate conclusion is that there is in fact no proper way to subtone as the huge amount of information I have collected has totally contradictory methods. I have spent a huge amount of time and effort in collecting information from all over the world on the subject of the subtone in the hopes of finding some mention of the difficulties experienced by those cursed with anatomical deformities related to the jaw or lips or mouth or other dental , oral or deformities and hopefully suggestions as to how these might be overcome. Should you come across any information either deliberately sought or fortuitously obtained , please do pass this on to me. Thank you .
