Red Rise Redemption 2: Life's A Beach. Loved my years in Rossland and at Red. Rossland is where I learned to alpine tour in the winter, had a brief fling with telemarking, and learned to rock climb in the summer (first on the elementary school then on granite bluffs). There was no TH-cam back then, so you had to learn solo from trial and error (which can be super sketchy), or from people in real life, in person, ... so a BIG thanks from me to all the mentors and hippies who took the time, had the patience, showed me the spots, and taught me their ways. Plus all the great mountain biking, backpacking, and so many beautiful lakes. Still so in love with Rossland. ❤
I love how hardly anyone's at the hill on nice, spring, blue-birds like this. Same deal at Kicking Horse yesterday. Love it. Didn't make it to Red,or White, this year, but will aim for next.
Local realtor here. The price for that cave is rather suitable for rob at a measly $2100. It also looks like it has great access to water and gas if a kitchen were installed.
Epic! The spring skiing was killer! You guys made the most of Red Mountain! I always loved controlled jumps and steep terrain as long as it isn’t an insane mogul field. Out east, spring skiing is often better than winter because winter skiing can be icy as hell. What a great, but bittersweet end to the season! Blessings to Rob and James for their fun contributions! Looking forward to seeing your spring and summer adventures! (Or any more skiing vids you might do between now and then. 😃) Hope your truck is still plugging along !
The skiing is far from over! It''s still been full on winter powder skiing in Whistler the last two weeks. April is sometimes the best skiing of the year in Whistler!
@@riseandalpine Northeast ice coast over here so my seasons just about wrapped up. Going to live viacriously through you for the next month and change. Tarps off for the boys
Omg I don’t want this season to end! Red mountain was on my list for potential visits but…now it’s bumped up to top…especially since I live so close by. Nice @jeremygoldie showed y’all around!

Such a beautiful place and such great people! Always great stories!
It's always fun to ski with a local to learn their perspective of the venue. So..... three cheers for Jeremy.
Skiing with locals is an absolute blast!
That moment when you realize ski trip's over... it's always so bittersweet!
Good news - I headed straight back to Whistler and have been skiing pow the last two weeks
Rob is hilarious, more of his commentary please
I agree!
8 days of laugh, fun and adventures. Keep it up and keep having fun.
I'll see ya back at Whistler!
The interviews are phenomenal 😅
Rob needs to become a new anchor!
Stoked to see you made the most of the spring conditions! Mother nature owes you a big pow day on your next visit here :)
Every night I dream of my next big RED pow day. Thanks for having us!

So many people hang up the towel in April and it's a huge mistake. Been skiing pow for the last two weeks.
8 days of awesome! Thanks so much for sharing your trip with us and spreading that spice around. We certainly do appreciate it, you boys rock.
Thanks for coming along for the journey and all the hilarious comments!
Great 8 days! Loved every minute of it!
Such a blast. So happy I could share it with you!
Yeah, fun! Great video.
Thanks Tony. Red rocks.

I'll talk to my client
good to see you enjoying our back yard :) Red is a special place
Thanks for having us! Such a sick place.
Thanks so much for posting all of these. Really looked forward to every new vid. I’m sad to see the season wrapping up. Back on the MTB!
Don't worry Nick. I'll still be on skis and riding decent snow until June!
Now that's a fun day of skiing, thanks for sharing. ❤
Thanks for coming along!

Great to hear! Looking forward to it!
Snow in the morning looked pretty good.
Totally! Had to ski it early!
Finally Red Mountain!!! Thank you!!
Red's the absolute best. If you want to see it in more winter conditions you can check out last years video!
Look forward to each of your uploads brother, keep up the lords work
Thanks brother! Lot's of good pow skiing videos coming down the pipeline! Season is far from over :)

Red is insanely great. Old time lifts, no lines, and 3800 acres! Skiers paradise for sure.
Best place I've been only thing is if the snow is bad it's hopeless but on a good day it's the best place in Canada in my opinion
The terrain and slack country is truly amazing. Definitely a paradise. Hopefully I can line up a pow day next season.
Definition of Living life to the fullest fr
Enjoying every minute!
This was a really fun video to watch. Reminded me of Aussie spring skiing which let's be honest is most of the season here. That is all
Spring skiing is better than no skiing!
Epic journey 🤟

Jeremy is a great dude & an insanely sick skier. You for sure need to check out RED it's awesome!
Lovin every minute of it!
Thanks Sean!
It’s 29 degrees out here in Europe. Glad that the season is still strong out there. Ours ended really way too early. 😢
It keeps getting stronger. Been skiing pow the last two weeks in Whistler!
@@riseandalpine Sounds like a dream
Hopefully you will be in Alberta next fall for first Shreds of the Season. Now back to the lab for a full filling season of rock hit repairs…LOL
LOL - going to be hard to revive the ski damage from this season. Thankfully were still getting nuked in Whistler. Lot's of pow skiing videos to come!
Was at Red the day they shut down for covid. 1/2 the town turned out to ski naked.
That's just the kind of local ski energy I would expect there. Absolutely hilarious!
Awesome video as always!! Wish ski season could be all year 😢
Don't worry. Lot's of pow skiing videos in the pipeline. My goal is to ski every month this year.
Hawaian teletubby? Rob is so funny. 3 Hawaiian shirts look good!
Rob is an absolute character eh!
@@riseandalpine yes sir!
What goes across the sky at 5:48???
Nice catch! What the heck was that? Whatever it is it's moving pretty dang fast.
snowball thrown by God. Pretty dang close to them though.
Maybe the golf ball rob stoked?
@@riseandalpine Uh oh, it was Santa, he got in the hot sauce again! lol
Hey man! Your vids are great! Just a question - you ever thought about going to Japan and making some ski vids there? Would be awesome!
I've always thought about Japan! Once I can afford it, I'll go
Wooo! Let’s goooo!
Yeeehawwww
Haven’t watched your channel in a while and I completely regret it
Glad you stumbled back! It's been an awesome season.
What were the temps there that day?
Maybe 14 degrees C
8 in 8. This is the 50 for non Codys.
We should be calling it the +50 with the amount of trash food we've been eating hahaha
The wages of sin.
MORE LOCAL follow cams - local shredders
It's fun following around a skier who's much better than me!
…I wanna ski ⛷️ thru a rock 🪨 now!
The split rock was super fun
Stick to the groomers bud
But I prefer split rocks?
RED is the worst resort. Don't go there it sucks. /s
I'm not sure this approach is going to work. The word is out.
Couldn't pay me to go there!
