+Em1lic0! IKR, with the new updates, i feel they are just taking the fun out of TF2 and thats why i've stopped playing. Next patch they'll probably add something like you can build three mini sentries at a time with the gunslinger.

I spy checked in CSGO, it actually worked, I got kicked afterwards though.
I did the calculations, and it only takes 24 damage to completely drain the Boost bar. Good weapon.
That... Is a pathetic amount. I feel regret because I never really used the BFB in its prime.
Now it feels like you have to use the Pretty Boy's Pocket Piston with it all of the time to minimize damage, but I just use Crit-A-Cola.

@Ori Shlomay I remember what I did when I tested how much it takes to fully drain the boost. I spawned a bot and used it to get the boost meter up to 100%, then used the "hurtme" command in the console to deal a specific amount of damage to myself. It was 24 damage that was needed to drain it completely.
Even then, it's a difference of 1 hit point; is it seriously worth replying that the wiki says 25 instead of 24?

Coinman121 the very original, where you couldn't jump. The later version (pre-GM) was somewhat overpowered, I will agree, but the original release version was okay. The only real problem with it was that it forced players to change strategy when fighting Scouts because of the added speed. Now it's just a perpetual Natascha for Scout.

Coinman121 You technically could jump, but you would lose half boost with one jump and the rest with a double jump.

STAR_, the weight of the canister on pyro's back contributes weight, so it causes him to fall backwards.
Star_ i can safely assume, that this video showed that life as a scout can be 2fast2quick, but you show brilliance when it comes to your gameplays, quite an entertaining feat. You pull here, sir. I sincerely hope you will not halt or slow down during this progression of popularity and im quite proud to be a loyal subscriber.

I don't get how people think the current bfb is op. The only benefit it has over the relay scattergun is the speed. The lack of 2 extra shots makes a pretty significant difference, and as ster pointed out, the speed can also make it hard to even hit people. It's not over or under powered, it's just different.
Maybe it's stronger than the regular gun in the right hands, but most players don't have those hands.

Version 1: Fun to play, a bit weak
Version 2: Pretty damn good, a vast amount of people used it. It was almost too good!
Version 3: This version, it's kinda weak and flawed. Because the earlier versions you just could get a few hits and have that speed forever, the intention of adding damage is speed reduction was good but it was executed very weakly. And the 4 shots make it worse.
I miss the old TF2, 2012-14 man, those were the glory days.
I missed the old BFB, it was balanced I don't care what people say, and the old Axetinguisher and Caber, loved those weapons, they suck now.
I agree with you on the caber and the BFB, but the Axe was overpowered since a pyro could halt you in the air, sure it was an ambush weapon, but so many pyros used it to face down a heavy before he could spin up.

or have a pyro buddy do the itniting
2009-2012 were the glory days. 2012-2013 was the silver era. 2014-2016 was the late era and now TF2 is dead.

The gun (spread) is very tight, but if you work it really hard it will be very pleasant to use. I love how tight it is, yeah it is painful at first but after a while it feels really good to use. Plus if you're Star you like to involve fish :)

ok, this proves it. I use the baby face blaster JUST LIKE THIS. and I unload TWO WHOLE CLIPS almost POINT BLANK into a SNIPER. and yet, he turn around and kills me with his machine gun in 1/2 a second. then when the thing shows how much health he has. he lost only a quarter of his health. I added the numbers up, I did 436 damage.

I used to be a COD player and when i played TF2 i tried to sprint by pressing shift and i thought well maybe the sprint button is different and yes i tried to crouch just like STAR but i soon learned you cant like do that and i was like TF2 IS WAY BETTER THAN COD!

So many comments on this video are people whining about new BFB, I find new the new playstyle more enjoyable, as you don't feel like a scumbag, sure the old one was AMAZING and way too good, but that was unhealthy. I enjoy the new playstyle of managing your boost and the risk and reward of playing aggressively.
There is no reward in using the BFB when a stray bullet or one left click of a flamethrower drains it and makes you slower than a scout regularly is.
S̶u̶b̶t̶l̶e̶ ̶I̶n̶s̶a̶n̶i̶t̶y̶ There is reward if you can dodge everything, but that's a far too idealistic scenario of course. Also Flamethrowers kind of destroy you.

I agree. I use the BFB because if you can just properly take flank routes to avoid damage, you can utilize the boost to easily make an enemy scout fumble their aim; forget about snipers. Not to mention it's still insanely good for ctf

3) Now it's basically a scattergun with 4 shells, rather than a more accurate scattergun with less damage.

This setup is bad. You lose a great deal of mobility as you can't jump. Yes, you are fast, but is it worth it to lose a lot of speed at start and take forever to do 100 damage? If you die and the opposing team manage to spawn camp, you'll be in a bad situation. Also, if the heavies and engineers were smart and not F2P, there would be more deaths in this video. The only reason this setup is good is because of the map. A compact map is good for this setup, but open areas such as barnblitz will screw you over.

***** I use the Baby Face Blaster with the Pocket Pistol and it's rather good, though I don't use the Holy Mackle because I go in loud and fast with a Frying Pan

It's best (if you have the inventory space) to collect all the weapons with stats. Just so you have all the options possible. Also, then you can just turn duplicates into scrap when you get them without the guilt of possibly crafting away a good item.
Happened to me but i can trade to get the item back so
I used a ham shank to craft scrap to make scrap
it's funny at 11:44 when the spy tried to facestab a frickin scout. Hilarious. I don't get how even a noob would think that's possible.

The thing about the baby face blaster is that it is one of few guns that give you a reward for hitting enemies. This inspires one to get more kills, and makes them better in the long run.
The baby face's blaster is actually really good, especially if the map has huge open grounds
the part where you ran away and shown up behind the pyro? That's why I always loved this gun XD

This is arguably one of the most effective strategies granted if you can distract as many enemies as you can.
