Welcome to the new world of Behind the Scenes. I am a Musical Theatre person for the stage so I can relate to all that is happening in this video. It's the same work process as doing a video. I wanted to let you know that you "clued in" on a very important fact. You made a great observation. You saw the guys having fun and goofing off when it wasn't their time to be filmed. This time "off set" is just as important as "on the set." It's a bonding time for the guys. They learn to trust each other. And it's a time to relax from the stress of "getting it perfectly right" while on set. I can't tell you how important a fun set is. If everyone is stressed from the director to the crew to the actors...it shows up on screen and ruins a film. You may have not heard this before, but when TV and movie actors are interviewed, they will be asked how it was on set. The Truth is some actors decide to never work with a particular director again because the stress on the set was unbearable. You observed the guys goofing around. Some directors won't allow that. I promise you that this is the only way to run a successful production. Also the guys are "soaking" in everything on set. They can observe the filming and really understand the talent of the other guys. In fact, it's quite an education for them. They don't know, but they're learning how to direct, how to act from each other, the technical side of making a video, and they learn every little detail it takes from the crew and staff and members to create a Masterful Masterpiece of art. Which this is. This is proven by the successful solo albums and MV's they directed and produced.
Also, when they are practicing for a concert, the Behind the Scenes is just as good. It's a time to get to know them when they aren't being professionals on stage, but just plain guys off set. I promise the memories I have of all the rehearsals and the laughs and the goofing off with each other are just as memorable as all the memories of performing on stage. It can be sad.... thinking the play or the musical or the concert is when all the fun ends. Performers go from a very high feeling with all the adrenaline rushes while performing. Then we all "bottom out" when it's all over, and the adrenaline rush is gone. We do grieve the loss of seeing everyone every day. And we can even go into a kind of depression. We are thinking..what are we going to do now? There are so many hours that tick tick by slowly every day. We are sad...for a while. Then normalcy sets in. It's not normal to live the life of a performer. If you do concert tours, someday you wake up and don't even know what city you are in. You are living out of your suitcase. It's like being a roaming vagabond.
I challenge you. Find the interpretation based on the book. This person did pretty good, but some things weren't right. She admitted. She guessed. Ask your subscribers whose channel has the best and most reliable explanations. The channel Bookish Theories is usually very reliable.
The behind the scene thing is bts made, as u know bts were looked down bcz they were very small agency, they didn't have chance to be on shows on tv or invited to promote..... So the boys started using vlogs on sns to talk with army while other kpop didn't, bts created their own shows to share with army like run bts, in the soop, bon voyage.... And they made connection to talk abt album process on lives with army fans, they chose to share the behind the scene of their work...... Like bts had no chance only to find other ways to be able to connect with army and bcz they liked to share the work process they did alot so nowadays kpop after seeing bts got phenomenon they started to study what bts did to be global and now all kpop opened sns, do lives, share behind the scene, make own shows..... Like following bts step by step, however bts are the one genuinely sharing with army all the work even bts has festa every year celebration of their anniversary only bts did nowadays all kpop group do like really without exagerassion bts did change everything for kpop, bts did it with love to be able to be close to army but kpop do it for strategy of getting success same bts, that's why u need to watch alot of boracity magazine, the rise of bangtan........
This was very good, I haven't seen this theory before and I would say it does go along with the video quite a bit. But it is also leaving out the important part, which is the book 'Damien' by Hermann Hesse's. There are explanation videos on that, which are important as well. The whole point of the book and story is a coming of age and dealing with temption, and acceptance but on a psychological level. I've said this several times, BTS are teachers. They encourage a person to open their mind and think outside of the box.
There are nearly always multi layers of meanings to BTS MVs and lyrics. There is the BU (Bangtan Universe), which is a story that runs through a lot of BTS MVs, but there are also different layers to MVs, not necessarily related to the BU. You mentioned Idol, which has so many messages and reasons for why the MV was shot the way it was. Plus you also recently reacted to Ddeang, which has several meanings for the word and in the lyrics. These are just a couple. I would suggest DKDKTV as a good you tube page for explanations by a Korean. There are others or course, but maybe start with them as they are very good at explaining cultural references etc. also. I am still learning myself, so other Army may jump in and add to what I am saying, but one lesson I have learnt is that BTS do not do anything just by accident, there is always a reason. Even in their solo work, there are deliberate references to BTS work or another member, e.g. Jimin's 'Set Me Free pt 2' is part 2 because Suga has a song called 'Set Me Free'. Jungkook has 6 backing dancers in his solo work representing the other 6 members, he also has black wings in 'Standing Next to You'. Agust D/Suga had 6 rebels with him in Daechwita. 'Airplane pt 2' is part 2 because J Hope has a song called 'Airplane' (J Hope also sings and dances to the same line in the middle of the song in both MVs). Fake Love, as well as having several references to the BU also has references to other songs, like 'Save Me' written on the wall behind V. Even now with Jin's song 'Running Wild', the dog represents Army. These are just a few to give you an idea and just skim the surface.
Not my recommended explanation video. Try XCeleste for a better one. While there are certain things which are good, there are quite a few liberties taken to make an HYYH thesis that seems oddly detached from the song's roots in Hermann Hesse's book Demian, the teachings of Nietzsche, the concept of Abraxas and even the fact that Jin kissing the statue is him opening himself up to self-growth (cracking through his old skin). Pistorius's organ was called a piano and Jungkook's bike scene in Fire was totally misstated in an argument for its symbolism in BS&Ts. I have to say I winced as you guys were so cool pursuing knowledge and wound up with a mixed bag of facts and one person's speculation. You deserved better.
oh a lot of kpop groups have a lore in their music videos, the only ones i've kept up with so far are bts', stray kids' and ateez' MV story lines and even then i feel like i only know and understand the surface but there are mvs like mic drop that doesn't have anything to do with the lore
Ya'll know there is a Japanese version with an official MV also right? If not, you NEED to watch that too, or nothing will connect!!!!! in addition at this point even RM is looking to ARMYS because they don't even know what the hell is going on LOL and why we LOVE THEM SO MUCH!!!
Those guys are genuine im surprised how army don't give them enough views, i see fake money seekers reactors really do have crazy support from army, this 3 young guys deserve to be knows from army they do analyse and very respectful other channels using run bts for money on patreon get huge views those guys deserve more
This explanation was ok but I think the better explanation video for Blood Sweat and Tears is called “Blood Sweat and Tears: What Does It All Mean” by Don’t Worry I’m Not Afraid. Here’s the link: th-cam.com/video/5tlgAUE6yjg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=ZT3Bzf0X6EU0tazY BTS also made a parody of the music video which always makes me laugh: th-cam.com/video/ezS-MLZ1oYA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9F06umEKc-HKJQJm
I think this is probably how the mv relates to the BU (so all the other mvs) but it leaves out how the mv is based on the book, Demian. I think this was an early explanation but we know more now. There is another explanation out there that talks about the book... th-cam.com/video/5tlgAUE6yjg/w-d-xo.html There are other good ones too. There was a really good one that I can't find now. For the BU explanation (after you actually watch the whole of the BU) xceleste has a very good theory based on the mvs, shorts, notes and everything. Thanks for your reaction
Why they don't get support from army? They have few views on bts contents, they are very genuine and they don't seek money, however army support fake one who use them for patreon and they have huge views, army has to select right genuine people

There are other good ones too. There was a really good one that I can't find now.
For the BU explanation (after you actually watch the whole of the BU) xceleste has a very good theory based on the mvs, shorts, notes and everything. Thanks for your reaction
