    I love this!! I did a lot of crafts for my momma while she was in the nursing home. This weekend I'm attempting to make saddles for her and the grandparents headstones.

      Teresa Lynn that is too sweet! I have often thought of working at a nursing home eventually. I could be in charge of craft time. :) Imagine all the things they could teach me!! The saddles sound nice! I would love to see a picture. I am on Facebook - Crafting it up and Creations on there too!! Thanks for watching!

    In reference to what was said in the beginning of the video about he removal of items in the cemetery: as a groundskeeper at a local cemetery, I'll let you know that anything artificial that is not based on any one specific holiday we do keep up and don't remove it til it withers on its own. Any holiday based decorations are removed two weeks after the holiday and we keep on location for two more weeks. At that time you may return to retrieve your decoration piece. I think some people may come and to take your piece too if you do not however. I've seen families who gathered several of items. I don't know if they brought all of it or if it was all theirs and whatever the situation is .. So I don't say anything. But there are two weeks allowed for pickup before discarding. Things such as toys or stuffed animals I know the birds sometimes take and rodents chew up. We can't prevent that. Keep these things in mind when you take things in. This is the what happens at the one I personally work at and I can't speak for ALL cemeteries. But just saying, serveral have their own guidelines you can ask them about theirs.

    This turned out beautiful! I'm going to go get several of these trellises to use at the cemetery year round. They'll probably sell out by the end of summer...or sooner.

    Just found you, love the videos. So sorry for your loss, my dad and mom passed away in 2010. I think I will try something like this for their gravesite.

    I simply love your channel! I just happened upon this..my dad was a mechanic too. But everything that gets put on his grave is stolen, even the flower pots we bought to go with his black stone, which were not cheap..this would be a great way to put stuff on his grave that didn't cost me an arm and a leg just for someone to take!!! I am subscribed! Keep the videos coming. From Tennessee here😊

    I just found your channel and you have a new subscriber! I'm loving your projects and this one just called to me (and your behind the door craft organizer and probably the others I've yet to watch!) I will be using this idea soon thanks for the inspiration and my heart goes out to you on your father's loss. I lost my grandfather who raised me that year also and they are always in our hearts.

      Janet is one of my favorite youtubers and a truly sweet soul. I've been watching her for a while now but just recently lost my dad. I'm going to try something like this. I think the grounds keepers come "clean up" several times a year. The lady at the cemetery where my dad is buried said the only thing they leave when they clean up at that cemetery is stuff in vases. I might get a DT grave vase too and see how it holds up.

      TheBudgetBee awe.. you are sweet!! I have done the vase type ones as well but they all disappear. I don’t really mind too much spending this little on this as compared to something with real flowers or bought. The vases do hold up very well! The DT ones are just like the ones at the craft stores. I am hoping they still bring back these crosses as well but I thought by Easter last year I had saw them. Hugs Dale!!

    First time I've seen your channel and I too lost my Dad ('17) and I had to have him cremated. But I have other family I would love to try to make these for. Where did you find the crosses?

      I got those from the Dollar Tree at the time. I’m so sorry to hear that! I find a lot of cute things at the Dollar Tree without spending a lot that looks so nice. They had these around Easter

      Thank you. I've noticed that alot of the channels I follow that craft with stuff from the Dollar Tree we can't find at ours. Which reaalllllyyy stinks. But your arrangement is beautiful. Thank you for your time.

    Some cemeteries don't allow plastic flowers so that is something you might want to check into. Sorry about your loss. Thanks for sharing! Just found your channel today 😀

      Tracy Ruth I don't doubt that but the one my dad is buried at only has fake flowers at the graves unless the person has recently passed.

      Awe... I have not seen her lately either now you mention it. I have subscribed to her... it’s hard to keep a schedule on here for me. I totally understand that being a mom takes priority and grandma that she is. We should send her a message to let her know we are thinking of her and hope everything is ok! I know I sure appreciated that at times I go ‘missing’ lol

    Pretty but needs more on it. Wire is to large for what you have on it.

    • @CraftingItUpandCreations
      @CraftingItUpandCreations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      the background wire? If I kept it for my house for decor I probably would add more. I know placing it at my dads grave it will disappear within a week even if they just take it up to mow/clean. I tend to keep adding to things usually - lol Thanks for watching!!
