I just began making my sourdough starter and soon will be able to go on the journey of making sourdough bread with you. I did find a great video that was relaxing to watch and gave me the confidence to take my first step. If you want, I can link it to you. God bless
That's wonderful 😊. I'd appreciate a link to the video you mentioned. I need extra help 😅. I hope your starter turns out great 👍🏾. I'd love to see your finished starter if you're up for sharing that with me.
@@JasminesCuriosityCorner As for sharing picture of my starter, I don't know how to do that. Not very tech smart here. I will keep you updated if I fail. It seems my comment to the link was removed. It's ok. You gave me the name and the title of the video you mentioned so, I'll search for it ❤. And yes, plz let me know how your starter and bread turn out @@jonesingblues4384
@@JasminesCuriosityCorner Welp.....my starter is going great and the bread is a success. I am making sandwich bread with pullman loaf pans and my adult sons and daughter in law love it. I hope your journey of making a starter is going well. Let us all know what's been happening. God Bless
@@jonesingblues4384 Lol, congratulations. At least one of us is have some bread success. I haven't made my swcond attempt at a starter but, I will soon.
It looks real good for your first time! Better than mine did! I never got it to work in a bread machine. I hand mix for the most part! I don’t consider any bread bake a fail.. I’ve made a lot of bread crumbs, French toast and croutons with my “fails”! Sourdough bread crumbs in a meatloaf is the best!! Just find a recipe that you like and make it about 10 times back to back and you will get it to turn out perfect!! Good luck and I can’t wait to see what your next one looks like!!
I just spent all day working on my first one too. If you haven't already check out farmhouse on Boone's sourdough bread video. Easiest one I've found to follow. With that said at the end of today, I'm wondering if it's even worth it compared to just doing a loaf in the bread machine. Seems like too much work 😂. I'm experimenting though. I did one like she said to with overnight rise, did one with shortened 4 hour final rise cause I need some kind of reward today for my work , one utilizing someone else's less kneading overnight dough recipe and then tomorrow I'm going to do one using sourdough in the bread machine from start to finish. The plan is to compare and see which process produced the best bread and was it even worth it. Definitely a learning process.
@@bassema2436 Omg, you're way more advanced in this sourdough life than I am. That sounds exciting though. Let me know your end result. Maybe you'll be able to give me some tips 😃
