Amy, I've been subscribed to you for a little while and love your videos. My youngest son (20yo) bought a 150 when 16 and I've been trying to talk him into a Glastar like Woodstock for about a year. Unfortunately he wants his next bird to be complex, and preferably high-performance, so I appear to be losing that battle. I'm a 60+yo that wants to learn to fly low & slow in a high wing, thinking the Glastar's speed & performance might hit in the middle for us both, but sadly it may not happen. My dad was a P-38 during the later part of WWII and ended up in a King Air flying corporate. He was an A&P, a CFII, and flew so much that we never got around to teaching me. Thank you for sharing your airtime and Woodstock. I love it and it keeps me itching to get up and learn. Sadly time flies, and I don't. LOL
That's awesome! Congrats! I live in Colorado and I almost have my PPL! Videos like yours and many other aviation TH-camrs really keep me excited for my PPL between lessons.
Thank you for posting your videos. I wish you well in your new career. If I had a daughter I would want her to be like you. I hope to see more of you as you go though your training. Smiles
Great video Amy. Sad to see you leaving PA. You probably won't miss the mountains and the rain but the Pacific coast is hard to beat when it clears up. My favorite 2 days of the year:)
I'll miss the green trees and blue-tinted snow-capped mountains! (Yeah, those are my favorite two days of the year, too.) Don't be a stranger if you find yourself out this way!!
Great video Amy, as always a pleasure to watch. What a stunning flight, you must've been enjoying that to the max. The views on the mountainous areas, so beautiful!
Thanks for another great video, Amy. I'll miss your videos of flying around the PNW--where I live--but now I look forward to learning about flying in CO.
Amy Great video. Glad you made it safely. Love your video and look forward to many more. Can't say I am sorry to see you leave the PNW. My niece works in PA at one of the banks there. Thank You for your service. My husband is a USA retired MSG. Stay safe.
Amy just want to say, you do such a great job flying, music in route and flying scenery. I wish all TH-camrs were half as good as you. Keep up the videos and great luck on your new adventures.
Always enjoy watching your videos! Thanks for all the hard work. Luv that "Happy Dance". Congratulations on the move. Looking forward to seeing more. Blue Sky's and Tailwinds
If you get the chance to fly up to Mccall, ID, the view and experience is beautiful. There are a few great grass airstrips with little restaurants that serve some of the best food I've ever had. Great videos. Don't stop chasing the wind...
Great job CFI/A&P Amy 👍 You stand out from the rest on utube.........you became a CFI/A&P & your real.....country & you keep it simple with electronics .
Amy you are awesome. I love to watch your flying. You do your thing. Great. Woman in aviation are phenomenal. I love it. Makes you special. Always save flights. All the best from Germany. Keep on going. 😎☀️👍🛩
Good luck Amy! I was always hoping our paths would cross out here in the Pacific Northwest. I just missed you during one of your flights into my home base of Arlington Airport. Regardless, best wishes in all your future adventures!
Very nice video with great views and upbeat music. I would like to have more from you on how you planned your route and a little more about each end of the day airport and the local town. Best of luck with your new location. Look forward to seeing adventures from Colorado.
I rented a home in Rock Springs at the base of Aspen Mountain(where the radar bubble near Rock Springs Regional Airport is)2018-2020 when I worked for UP in Wyoming. The winds there were insane all the time seemed to be so calm when you came in though.
Welcome to my home state. Just a little bit South of you. (I'm around the Colorado Springs area) Hope you have a good time here and keep taking those videos.
Welcome to Colorado! My son and I are based out of KBJC, just up the road from KEIK. We own a 77 Grumman Tiger AA-5B. My son is a CFI and I'm just a former Navy pilot bum. Look forward to seeing Woodstock in the air above Mile High Country! Fly safe and fly often!
I'm currently going to Spartan for my A&P and hunting for a CFI job at BJC. If I find one, I'll be around literally every day!!! Say hi if you spot me, and thank you!!
@@amywhite375 - Good luck. Spartan is a great school. If you are ever at KBJC, look for us on the Western Air Academy ramp... that's where we park our Grumman. It's currently undergoing some engine work, but we'll be out there again soon. Fly safe and fly often!
great trip. Like you, have said goodbye to my trusty C150 (AKA Rooster) and welcomed a homebuilt into the family... a bright yellow RV6! My wife thinks woodstock would be a good name, but I told her it's taken.
Congratulations! There can be more than one Woodstock. In fact, there is. A friend named Ed has a yellow C150/150 taildragger that was called Woodstock long before I bought my Woodstock! "Little Yellow Bird" also seems to be popular. :)
Welcome to Colorado!! I moved here 10 years ago, spent 3 in the front range, then move out to the 4 corners area. You're going to like the opportunities to get out, but good luck with Front Range traffic!! :)
Beautiful looking aircraft! If you haven't flown it to Oshkosh yet for the EAA convention, come on up! There is a Glastar group meets in Madison WI, then they show up at oshkosh in a mass arrival!
Hi Amy. Welcome to Colorado!! I'm your hanger neighbor. Keep my little Zenith 601 one hanger row to the west of your location. Hope we run into one another soon. When you get that A&P done I'll be glad to have you help me with annuals. And did I understand from your videos that your a CFI? What a great asset you'll be for KEIK community!!
Hi! Such a small world. I hope to see you out there too. Unfortunately KEIK is temporary until a full time hangar opens up at KCFO. I’m sure I’ll commute up there often though! I am indeed a CFI, and I’m looking for work. Haha
when i seen this video in my youtube feed, i clicked on it fast, i never clicked on a video that fast, Great Flying, i guess this was the cross country flying you told me about
I know lots of folks default to the square G5's But I do love the look of the round digital gauges. Great video as always. Thanks for your service in the Coast Gaurd!
@@amywhite375 instead of the G5's if you at some point do a do over, would you consider the GI-275's to keep the round look? the display sizes are actually quite similar to the G5
Whoa whoa whoa...., What the hell is going on? You just got to PA and now you’re off to CO? You gotta tell us what’s up. Love that little AV-30 unit. Gonna look into one of those. Okay, we’ll take it easy and good luck in the new chapter w Amy and Woody,

Welcome to Colorado!
Great flight. Recently purchased the AV-30 for my Luscombe that has no vacuum system. Hoping it's as good as it's marketed to be!
When visiting these remote airports are courtesy vehicles common, always wondered that thanks
Fairly common! Many on a first come first serve basis and not always guaranteed.
Thanks for posting! Don't be too self-critical about the landings - you walked away from every single one of them!
Welcome back! Love the videos. Great job! This might be your new calling!?!
