I like that first officer- seems like a cool guy 😂
Ern's videos never cease to be fascinating.
Great story of the young man!!
Ernie, Nice to see you on the front page of the Business section of the Sunday edition of the Dallas Morning News! Great article!
WOW, Amazing video as always, Cheers Young Captain POMP and Great Job Man
Another great vlogg Big Ern!!!
Ur FO's story was amazing for someone so young. Thanks for sharing ✈☺
My Dad retired out of Travis. Vacaville was my old stompin' grounds. So sad that you didn't pause for a moment to smell the golden grasslands and hike those hills. Solid advice, sir. Take a day off now and then while you are younger and enjoy the journey!
My dad retired out of Travis AFB in 1972. He volunteered for the Army Air Corps in 1942 and stayed for 30 years. My fond memory of Vacaville was following the produce trucks filled with freshly harvested onions. They smelled like hamburgers and always made me hungry. Vanden or Armijo?
@@mmeyers111 Oh the ONIONS! The smell of spring! My parents bought a convenience store, a Qwik Stop just across the freeway from the vegetable plant. And when the onions were being dried, it smelled like the Vacaville Fiesta Days were about to start!!!
Great video as always ❤
Great video Capt Cool. Congrats to this young inspiring pilot.
I’m in MAF, PHX & AUS often, always keep my eyes open for a Big Ern spotting. I’ll definitely say hello when I do. Enjoy your videos.
Please do!
Thai pilots represent! 🇹🇭 Just started my first 135 medevac job this week. Thanks for all your inspiration Ernie!
Nice video. As always sir 👍
Great and inspiring video. I’m starting my flight training journey and will remember your F/O’s words.
Timing is EVERYTHING.
Loved the walk around at San Diego. Saw my old stomping grounds, Marine Corps Recruit Depot aka MCRD, in the background (all the yellow buildings).
Boise! my hometown, born and raised there. I live in the upper peninsula of Michigan now but that's awesome :)
I grew up just outside of Detroit (yes a troll, I know) and now live in Lewiston ID.
Nah you're not a troll for being from under the bridge :) I had family up in Lewiston, beautiful area.
Just another inspiring video. Just finished my private pilots license
Glad to hear the FO say about the hard days. I'm getting close on my commercial but I'm feeling burnt. I'm an older guy and I made it my full time job to train.... but 3 flights a day, and its been hot and bumpy (today was 93 deg gusting 35) and I just need a few days to decompress. I want to get done fast.... but want to enjoy the journey.
Good advice on both your parts
You the man Ern!
FO is absolutely killing it!
May God bless you throughout your journey. ❤
You should pick up the leg from Portland to Orlando on July 26th, we will be flying southwest and would love to see ya!!
Great video Ern. Was wondering when was the last time you had a go around flying the 737? Cheers from CYYB.
My current home town Boise. And my older hometown ,San Diego
I wish I had known about great Thai food in Mesa. I was there in February.
His secret was good timing.
True, but we will only beat ourselves up if we try to compare our journey with others.
Ern, aren't you Thai as well? Thats awesome to see a Thai duo taking on the flight deck!
I remember driving to work in Phoenix and it would be 100+ by 9 am 😂 Id move back though!
Bom descanso Ernie Meeks Deus abençoe sua vida sempre 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Hey is this the IATA turbulence aware platform or another proprietary turbulence app?
Big Ern all emergency door suff AD on max?
Hey Big Eirn. Any chance you can fly a 733-700 that will be sold to coulson and do a video on it? They just got their first 700NG and buying 6 more... Think it would be good video like when you pick up a brand new max
great vid as always, quick question, have you guys officially open BNA as a crew base yet?
I believe they have
Hey Ernie could you do a Video about the SouthWest Destination 225 program? I am very interested and need some advice about what to do.
Will that turbulence app work if your aircraft does not have Wi-Fi?
where do you get all the nice lanyards?
while we are on this topic... what are the chances of getting into D225 as a military vet from a non-flying career field? Degree done, building time to R-ATP.
Hey Big Ern - Would you allow flywithgarrett who is a SCAB's son a jump seat on one of your flights?
One of my favorite parts of vacation is getting there on Southwest. If Southwest doesn’t fly there am not going.
Still on my bucket list to have Big Ern as my Captain.💛💙❤️
Do you get to choose your hubs for southwest?
Is he not coming in at the perfect time? I hired out on the railroad 26 years ago and have enjoyed climbing the latter quickly. We had a lot of people retire and the government required the railroads to hire heavy.
Hey Big ERN on a scale of 1-10 how well does PomPack as a 27 year old land the 737?
Do you ever fly into Chicago midway
Name of the Thai restaurant in Mesa? A bit hard to hear on the video. Always enjoy your videos.
Name of the Thai restaurant is Tum Nak Thai…hello from Thailand.
Nice sqk no 2076 my DOB.
Tum Nuk is the best I have been going there since 2008
Did that first officer go to college or straight into flight school?
was the green hornet repaired?
💓
I going to be airbus 350 pilot for delta
💓💓💓💓💓💓🇧🇷
How it is possible to be instructor with 200 hours ?? Kind of crazy ?
Part 141 program
Not uncommon. USAF has (or did back in the '80s when I was at Vance AFB; not sure if they still do this) what was known as FAIPs (First Assignment Instructor Pilots). After UPT (Undergraduate Pilot Training) graduation, they go through PIT (Pilot Instructor Training) at Randolph AFB, TX and then go back to where they completed UPT and instruct usually for a couple of years before moving on to other aircraft.

fuck...27 years old?......he's a stud.....
Vidio quality was not up to your usual standard.
