- The Rebuild of the poor Abandoned & neglected barn find ford focus Rs turbo mk1 has begun! Restoring this beautiful car back to its former glory. The Headgasket replacement was first on the list, head has had a full rebuild with new stem seals and valves recutting. Plus a quick update of the Rs cosworth yb engine.

I got a ford escort gti. Its been sat in my garage for 11 years.
Rare cars they where few and far a collectors Ford, has so many special parts expensive. Nothing Mr uknown can't fix 😅😎💪. Look forward to seeing it run.

Can anyone explain the change to degrees after the initial torque up. I understand it just curious as to why half turn, quarter turn, degrees etc instead of say torque to 52 then torque to 60 ? Just curious if anyone knows. Loving the content keep up the good work 👏 👌
Its so that all the bolts start at a even playing field.plus I think its more accurate as some threads maybe tighter than others
What do you think about turboing a ford Sierra xr4x4 v6 or would it be better with a YB cosworth engine turbo

Yeah they are beautiful engines maye! Maybe if people want to see it 🤷🏻♂️
@@AaronUnknownPerformance yeah some are running over 330bhp especially in Ireland in the Mk2 Escort rally cars. Downside is they are massively expensive.
As for the XR4x4 I would definitely watch it. Good old V6 ohv engine 😄
