Mid-Watch Conversations glove review for my three worst gloves. If I had to give letter grades to these three gloves: Marucci: D Glove Works: F Dux: D -
I think you need to break your gloves in by playing catch, it’s the best way to break them in , mallet is great but catch will break it in the way it’s suppose to. For adults like us , it’s difficult to play catch and break in a glove. I recommend going to a batting cage and just catch from the machine, trust me brother your glove will break in beautifully, 5 to 10 sessions will do it.
I agree on playing catch as the best way to break in a glove. And if I had batting cages available I would do that. I used to do that in little league when I was a catcher. Go into the fast cage and catch for 15 or 20 mins.
Yeah, like I was saying the leather on the Marucci is great. Its more like the shape and size of the glove didn't work for me. But I am for sure interested at some point in getting a custom to see if it was the glove I got and not a Marucci thing. They have too many pros playing them to be bad gloves.
@@midwatchcoversations5169 I've noticed that they are inconsistent in their production of the gloves. My cousin has the exact same model as me and it feels completely different
Love the video! Great to know about which gloves to try and avoid. Just as a suggestion, in either the videos or the description, include the glove's model # and maybe series that it's a part of. As of right now, I'm actually looking into a Marucci because of the C-mod option.
I try to add the glove info, or at least the URL to the website. Sometimes I space it out. But I'll try to keep it in mind. Thanks for watching the videos!
