- This is the Third video of the workshop project (and playlist).
We are excavating the floor then re-leveling it in this video.
In the rest of the project we will be concreting the floor, building up the walls, and adding a roof back on - Turning it into a workshop again as it hasn't been used in decades.

I hope you buy her flowers on Mother's day... Greetings from Greece 🇬🇷.
The crazy bit was how the wall wobbled as you drove the dump truck into the workshop. oh, and it looks like you are going to have to add a foot or more to the wall height after having to put in all that fill.
Go ladies. Well done. All the work accomplished is making the workshed look great, inside and out. Good to have decent equipment. Imagine cleaning and moving stone by hand. Ugh. Best wishes.
Thank you so much that’s really kind of you! :)
Its been really good to watch you all attacking the work as a family with no hesitations, more power to you all - stay safe much respect from Scotland
Thank you. That’s very nice of you to say!
Keep chipping away guys.👍🙂
Thank you!!
The workshop is looking good a lot of work rebuilding old buildings. I’m building myself a workshop from scratch. Thanks for sharing this
No problemo. Glad you’re enjoying watching:)
Great job guys, very impressed with how all of you getting stuck in, best of luck from Co. Donegal in Ireland.
Thank you!!
Top work guys! Love from Australia 💕💕
That pointing looks brilliant. I think a Lazer level will serve you very well ! It doesn’t have to be an expensive one but it will help in so many aspects of your build.
Thank you! Yes I think you’re quite right. A laser level is exactly what we need!
Oh wow! That’s looking so much better already! Good job!🤗❤️🐝
Thanks Deborah!! Its getting there :)
@@FromRubbletoRiches-co6ph You’re welcome❤️🤗🐝
Might want to mask up when mixing the lime. Keep up the good work.
Yes we’ve not been very disciplined with regards to this. We will try to do better. Thank you for the reminder though :)
excellent chantier
Thank you very much! We think so!
What's the plan with the tree right by the entrance to the workshop? If it's not a problem already, then it definitely will be one in the future
The front of the building is being moved back :)
Use a sponge once you have trowel the cement in you won’t have to wire brush
Thanks for the advice:)
Are you sure those two trees aren’t going to get in the way in the near future ?
Even if they are we like them too much
@@FromRubbletoRiches-co6ph Well that’s good enough for me
Good luck I’m enjoying watching your project
👍👍👍
@@holymoly6829 Thank you so much. We’ll keep the videos coming :)
Are there any comments you can make about the various bits of equipment that you are using, or have used, that might be a help to others who might consider doing something similar? ie size of digger, drills used, mixer, etc.
I'll start putting links for equipment that we use (and like using) in the description
What kind of material is used in the stone pointing? Looks like a long job.
It’s an NHL lime pointing mix. It’s quite a strong ratio of 2-1 sand to lime as the wall needs all the help it can get
Top work guys! Love from Australia 💕💕
Thanks so much Claud!!
