- Roblox’s official FPS Unlocker is here! Finally, you can open up the Roblox settings menu and change your FPS to 240! Also, Roblox released a really good avatar editor update on the website where you can change avatar colours!

Even though the updates are small, i believe it's a huge upgrade, especially when we had to use 3rd party fps unlockers to change fps.

and yet even the updates can’t save their moderation system. I got perm banned on all of my accounts just cause I said you don’t have a dad to someone saying bypassed slurs.

rthro is just a tool for luring in sponsors while the bloxy avatars are what the actual playerbase is using and roblox knows that damn well
the full body color changer was actually a thing up until 2017, don't know why they removed it. glad its back in the exact same form though

The color palette feature is actually part of the BTR extension, although the custom hex color skin tones are something that Roblox does allow now.

the only issue i have found with the custom colors thing is that for some reason it doesn't save, tried using the desktop app, mobile app, and now the website but each time i save a preset / outfit with a custom selected colour, it goes back to one of the old color presets
Im so happy that they added the color pallette, i used to have to suffer with a off-green type color instead of rlly dark gray (which would match my avatar) wait i dont have it yet what

In all seriousness though, these are both really cool updates and I hope Roblox keeps adding these QOL things instead of adding something different every update.
Hopefully the feature where you can switch dynamic faces back to the classic versions gets added soon

I had the fps unlocker in my client one time a few weeks ago and i set the framerate to be 240. My computer wasn't letting the client to reach 240 so it was really laggy, but it still performed like it was at 240 fps. An example of this would be a faster firing rate in arsenal due to higher fps, but not necessarily reaching the required fps for that firing rate increase.

good update however the lack of a no limit option sucks. having a fps cap often causes lag spikes unlike with no cap
they should make an update to make any acsessory adapt to your avatar, but these are great updates!

In the next "classic" event they should release more un used hats or hats that costed tix, or just make hats look more classic. As in lowering the vertexes and lowering the quality of the textures

Dusty trip definitely put the most effort into the classic event. Was also my favourite to play. For Sonaria studios, they picked a good game verses their other popular game, Creatures of Sonaria. Dragon adventures was a good pick.

A tip for those using the new FPS feature, you should always cap your FPS at your monitors refresh rate, if you set it higher it'll attempt to run it and that can cause drops in FPS if it's pushing to run too much like 240, always limit it so you don't drop in FPS as much

if you're playing on 10 fps this update isn't going to help you. it's to unlock higher framerates but since you can't even reach 60 this update will be useless.

Mobile is such a small device, I don’t think an FPS unlocker would work properly. Even the FPS unlocker in pc roblox is having issues, instead of increasing FPS which is what’s supposed to happen, it decreased many peoples fps.

I hate how everybody says toilet tower defense sucks meanwhile we have livetopia and dress to impress in the event which were way harder and grindier than ttd and are just overall way worse games. Ttd actually did a good job with the 1x1x1x1 cutscene so I’m shocked everyone is hating on it.

Fps unblocked would be the best even on low end laptops
that's not how it works, if you have a low end system and then cap your FPS to something like 240 it won't increase your FPS to 240, if you were already getting like 20 FPS on average then you'll still get 20 FPS even if you capped your framerate at 240, it depends on how good your computer is, and it should only be used if you have a high refresh rate monitor, so if someone was able to get 240 FPS but they had a 60hz display it wouldn't do anything, it only matters if you have a monitor that's something like 120hz or 144hz or anything higher than just 60hz

The FPS update also depends on your refresh rate for your monitor. You can check your refresh rate (windows 11) by going to settings, then system, then press display. Then, scroll down a bit until you see the Advanced Display button. Click it and then you can see how many Hz your monitor can use.

Yeah probably not since roblox runs like crap on mobile like I get 120 fps on cod mobile high settings but on like arsenal on like very low graphics i get like 45-50 fps

just a reminder: changing the fps cap doesn't make it smoother if your monitor is only at 60hz. This goes the same with 120hz and 144hz monitors. It's also bad to have extra FPS that is over your monitor's capabilities, that's why VSync exists

Tip: don’t put your FPS to the max, find out what your monitors refresh rate is and then set it to the closest one. Otherwise it uses more power and you don’t get like any of the frames.

Next I hope they GREATLY raise the Character Creation Limit (Aka the Outfits). It's a pain that I have to use Text Documents to keep track of every asset, body color, body part, face, scale, and animation to re-be one of my many created, outfits. It sucks when you have to make that difficult, difficult, DIFFICULT decision to eventually replace one of the older ones, for a newer one.
And older players dread this limitation THE MOST. Heck, I'm one of them. Hope Roblox raises the limit at some point, because a glitch proved that it can be done very easily.
