Thanks Masha!!! You are helping to thousands of people to understand faster and in simply manner what's going on with them. Yours video saving time to find specialists before you have a diagnosis CANCER...
You are absolutely right about changing health care providers when the situation does not feel right. The first hematologist I went to immediately diagnosed me with MDS, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, without doing anything more than blood work, and he said my MDS was unaggressive and didn't require urgent attention and he told me to come back in six months. That didn't seem right so I switched to a different hematologist who ordered a bone marrow biopsy which showed I had a very aggressive form of leukemia, AML with the MECOM mutation, and that I needed urgent treatment, which I received. Now, over a year later, my prognosis is good, though I have no idea where I'd be if I stuck with my first hematologist.
So glad to hear you took matters into your own hands. It amazes me how physicians are so careless with people's lives, I truly don't understand the lack of interest. It's as if they forget it's a human life they're working with & can do so much harm by not being more thorough.
Thank you for sharing! You are helping so many people! I have multiple swollen left subclavicular left lymph nodes. I just had an ultrasound and the radiologist said they looked benign and it must be due to an infection. I haven’t been sick and I don’t have an infection. She said to watch and if it gets worse then come back. Like your story the lymph node is shrinking a bit now. I am watching closely because this is the same thing that happened to you. If the lymph node starts swelling again, I will go back and insist on a biopsy. Thanks again!!💕
Loved your story. I related in many ways. I delayed because I never imagined that I could suffer from multiple myeloma. I never heard it in my life. I am a nutritionist and super healthy when this acute rib pain led to the diagnosis of multiple myeloma

Thank you for sharing, your story is so relatable. I am stage 3 melanoma facing my second surgery the 7th! I hope your treatment is going well now! Wishing the best for you❤
My experience here in the U.S. is that yes, it’s easy to change your Primary Care Physician. But some new docs can be uptight if they feel like you’re “doctor shopping”; and most great docs end up with a closed practice that you can’t get into within a short time of beginning their practice, so unless your timing is lucky, most often it’s the not-so-great doctors who have room in their practice for a new patient. :/
I think I might have it as well. My story is pretty similar to yours. I changed my physician last week and now I'll have an X-ray of my lung on Wednesday. One of my symptoms is a constant cough and I have lumps on the sides of my neck. I'm scared.
I get night sweats and have been feeling so sleepy and weak but my blood work is fine I know something is wrong but I’m getting the run around ;( I do have 2 swollen small lymph nodes in my neck and in my armpit i feel so defeated 😢
I’ve had a lymph node on the side of my neck for over 3 yrs but none of my doctors seem concerned. It’s not painful. Pretty much the same size but I’m just worried because I was not born with it
If the node is bigger than 15mm for longer periods of time, you might wanna check that out to rule out cancer. My first cancer was discovered that way. Take care.
I am at this point, having endured since 2019 with a myriad of Symptoms, now including this same position on my right side above the collar-bone (3 months). My Dr treated me as a Cold 2-month's following what seemed like the Flu, with Prednisone to Cover-up the itching, Albuterol to try to open my Chest (Tamponade for 3-months), and something to prevent coughing. It didn't help...and then she went with Blood Work that says I am perfectly fine, dismissing my urging that this is Lymphoma, as my body then processed my Brain to catch up and listen, it is talking to me! At this point I am furious, I feel she is not listening and is redirecting diagnostics so as to not know. Truly! All suspicions aside, the entire Medical Industry Lost their friggin' Covid Minds, as everyone was played! She ordered a CT-scan without contrast...and I demanded an appointment following for a Biopsy, but she doesn't want that...she wants to be in control and her Time seems to be endless. I screamed at her over my Symptoms that she is unable to address, and she threw the Referral at me, ...so I placed my Appointments in the manner appropriate for Lymphoma, one before the other, ensuring a more timely position. That damn Witch cancelled my referral and refuses the Biopsy until the CT-Scan is done, regardless of the physical presentations I am showing. She is Blind beyond her own need to be in control, and she is not a Healer, she is a Practitioner...with a Cauldron of Meds to offer up through Pharma, the Potion Makers! I am beside myself, I cannot sleep, my heart is in an uproar with Anxiety to the point I am fearful of having Life shoved out from under me! My heart races, the pain is uncontrollable except the relief a some anti-inflammatories and reduced activities. I am exhausted that my headaches have me seeing Lights..and yet, she is not listening, and not addressing anything...and her "Blood-Work" doesn't work. I am so Sick, and the World was Abused by this System, Killing people, Killing Livelihoods, Killing Common-Sense!
@@somewhereinthemidwest9827 I am doing much better, considering my situation. After 5 months, and going through Chemo and several inpatient stays, it seems I forget most of it. I wish I could answer that question, but I cannot remember. Probably a good case of Chemo-Brain, I suppose! Take care!
Good luck with your stem cell transplant. I assume that you have already tried the targeted therapy, Adcetris (brentuximab vedotin). Adcetris is a fantastic drug. It completely cured my 86 year old father of Hodgkins lymphoma, and he had NO side effects from the drug. If you have not yet tried Adcetris, I suggest that you do. Then you may not need the stem cell transplant, which is a complicated process.
I’ve recently felt a swollen lymph node above my left clavicle about the size of an almond. Kinda scares me because lymphoma and leukemia run in my family due to my father’s exposure to agent orange in Vietnam. Been getting this aching in my right shoulder blade and on the side of my neck. I’ve decided to wait a month to see if the swelling goes down before I bring it up to primary. But hearing your story and symptoms sounds so familiar. Saying a prayer for you and your recovery. ❤

Did you have a solitary supraclavicle lymph node? I don't understand why it wouldn't be malignant before 2021. "Negative" ultrasound and blood work for lymphoma? That doesn't exist. They can only measure. I will pray for you Masha.
They probably saw an intact hilum and not much if any corticol thickening. Those are the two characteristics of malignancy they look for. But now studies are showing it can benign or malignancy with those characteristics
I was told that if it was biopsied at the time, it probably would not have been Hodgkin’s positive. I was told that lymph nodes can be enlarged but would come back negative.
