The multiplayer was outsourced. The team behind RE3 has nothing to do with the multiplayer one so my guess is they would've sold the same game. But alone it would be worth at most $40 so guess they added this to make it feel worth the 60
Sad to hear nobody likes it. I love the concept of it and the rush of it. It's buggy, clunky and a bit of a mess, but there's fun and huge potential in it.

Eh, been playing the beta. I enjoyed it more then I thought I would, I prefer to play as the Survivor but mastermind was also fun. Locking the door, spawning zombies then buffing them, place traps on the other side of the door so they take dmg when escaping. But I get to move around as a survivor and I'm ok with the time penalty, makes it more pressuring
To save the gameplay mode cons: Tone down the effects, resize the UI, its to big. Have the map at the top corner of the screen. C'mon capcom your smarter than this.
Coming over from dbd, the concept of this game is super sick to me. Theres like 13 games in this franchise. The content backing support for this would be absolutely insane
I think they could be working on it, RE: Resistance is probs a test of sorts, seeing if people like the Multiplayer aspect, and Capcom did say their next game was another remake but it’s not gonna be Code: Veronica so maybe it’s Outbreak?

You forgot to mention that even finding a game as a Mastermind is almost impossible. Most people want to play as them because you can do something you havent before in a RE game, so we have 100 people queueing as Mastermind and 40 queueing as Survivors but 40 survivors is only 10 games, and 100 mastermind queues is 100 games. Not to mention the Mastermind is always the host??? This entire game is doomed to fail.
I wouldn't necessarily say it's doomed to fail because it's assymetric. Dead by daylight was, and I assume still is, around and doing well despite having the same design problem with queue times.
omgwaffles09 Dead by Daylight is one of the most streamed games on Twitch as of this moment. But the devs constantly patch and update the game according to their personal wishes, and fan wishes. I’m not sure if I see Capcom doing the same thing for a multiplayer like this

I truthfully and honestly do not get why people hate this mode so much. I love it. It is like DBD but the survivors could actually fight back. There is ton of room to grow with it as well. People constantly ask for something new, and when it is delivered, they complain it isn't the old.

Seems like a better attempt at resident evil competitive than Operation Raccoon City and Umbrella Corps. Beta was really fun so I'm kinda hype to play, RE3 really needed mercenaries though

Instead of focusing their time and resources into creating a lengthy story campaign like they did with RE2 Remake, they made a multiplayer mode that nobody asked for. I knew Capcom couldn't trap lightning in a bottle twice.
RE2 Remake also cut corners, such as having an incoherent and dumbed down version of the A/B scenarios, plus paywalling the PS1 audio to make up for the new soundtrack being incomplete.

Re2 essentially had one campaign. What differences did Claire and Leon’s campaigns have? Sherry and Ada? One different boss fight? A and B scenarios were also a joke. The only differences were in the RPD, and even then, they were sparse. In comparison, re3 remake has multiple different difficulty settings which mix up enemy and item locations. You’re complaining about a non issue.
Also the game isn’t fair to new players AT ALL!!!! Broken mess!!!!! Going against higher players who already have their gear sets made. Also being able to revive players infinitely makes this unrealistic. Setting traps are very slow and don’t really cause that much damage
I actually liked this multiplayer and excited to play as the new characters and try out new maps, I think with regular updates this could be quite interesting, although I think the Mastermind is way too OP 😩
TheReal Agent47 once u get used to the game the mastermind is easy to take care off like if they use their bio weapons if it’s tyrant or William go into a room and circle them the other and pretty easy to deal with

Liam Carroll I enjoyed the game as well. I haven’t even played the campaign yet! The updates will make everything better as well. I also circle them around if they chase me. It’s kinda like what we do in DBD.

FYI, Capcom did not cut corners or have their budget cut to make Resistance. There were 2 different teams to make RE3 and RER. For people complaining about the HUD, you can still access the map so quit complaining. Instead, be grateful that we even have a map to utilize. I wish people would calm their horses and give it some time. Eventually, patches will improve the game.

We have a map to.use. ..wow. I dont think a "mini map" is changing the fact that the entire game is trash. Just make operation raccon city compatible on xbox one and it would stipp be better than resistance
Besides a few short cuts, every other section of the video had you playing with the default starting pistol or the starting melee weapon instead of any weapons bought from the item box. Are these just quick clips grabbed for the vid or actual gameplay? Because having a magnum in the end zone that uses 4 ammo per shot does a lot of damage and goes through reserves a heck of a lot faster than the starter pistol. I'd imagine the "unlimited ammo" buff would feel amazing with it or one of the super weapons (if affected).
Super weappns are affected 👌 the minigun feels amazing w infinite ammo. Also any fast weapon since her ability removes the need to reload. This IGN reviewer was garbo
Makes me mad how everyone is complaining about the multiplayer, if you don’t like it don’t play it . It’s actually pretty fun if you play with friends it’s not perfect but it’s still enjoyable.

Sad thing... this could have been amazing given enough love, namely balancing, proper servers, anti cheat, new maps and characters. Not just new characters, and maybe some new maps. It needs a lot of love, and i don't trust in Capcom to give it any, because that's how Capcom do! Every online RE game, they drop it and ditch it, they outsource too... i mean for once Capcom, can you follow up on your online RE games!? Support them!? This one actually sticks out, for the first time since OUTBREAK, as not being a total turd. No patch notes, a crappy roadmap and almost zero interaction with a dwindling population. Come on man! Did it occur to you that the lack of a mini map was intentional. You have to make a choice of whether or not you play with the map up. Turning it on makes it a visual oobstruction on purpose.
If this is responsible for making the main campaign even the slightest bit shorter I'm pissed....I don't care if this is the best multiplayer ever to exist...its not your main selling point and 90% of your fans wouldn't buy this if it was a stand alone

Connection issues and half hour mastermind waiting times are more the issue to avoid this one. And Capcom never fixes anything. Street Fighter 5 servers have never worked. When it comes out, either it works or it's a dud.
They really should've have created multiplayer as a PVE experience when your a low lvl going against a high lvl mastermind your pretty much done. They should've revamped outbreak, but were still going to play resistance regardless hoping they'll listen to our request
After playing resistance, I think it would be awesome if Capcom came up with a brand new villain RE game.... Where we would play as the antagonists, controlling mr. X, nemesis, birkin, re1 tyrant, hunters, lickers, etc. 🔥👍
I'd like a Resident Evil game where you play as Ada Wong & she encounters some of the villains of the franchise & also works along with them. Some of the villains that show up could be, Albert Wesker, Alex Wesker, Krauser, Nikolia, ect. You'd also be able to play as the other villains in there own campaigns or some type of versus or Online mode.

Nobody asked for this side game. Players just wanted a Remake of the RE3, similar to RE2: Remake. Instead Capcom chopped the Clocktower, made a scripted Nemesis, removed ragdoll Zombies, Gore, etc. and invested in a Multiplayer mode with multiple levels nobody cares, where you play with futile, non-memorable teenage characters.

@@Aw-gw1zz the original nemesis wasnt scripted. he appears unexpectedly everytime u go into a door or something. then he chases you throughout the game unless theres a Scene coming up or a puzzle is completed. i may or may have not gotten my facts right, but from what i remember playing it, he is like that.
@@citrussam8113 Nemesis was entirely scripted in the original it was not random depended on what rooms you went in first. In the downtown area if you went to the restaurant first he showed up there. But if you went into the newspaper first he showed up there it wasn't random at all he was scripted every time
6 is way too generous for this mode. The Beta was an ABSOLUTE mess. If one survivor leaves the game is basically finished. It is very advantageous towards the mastermind side and it isn't balanced at all. I don't get what they were also thinking with the "all survivors must wait by the door to proceed"... There was always that one survivor that loves to troll. It's a mess, it's very buggy and it just seems like a very rushed game mode just stitched together towards the end. Don't get me wrong I was looking forward to a multiplayer RE mode, multiplayer modes help in keeping a games longevity. Just not this one.

Tbh capcom should stop making anymore remakes in the near future. Everything's got an end to itself. U can't just go on doing something just because it satisfies all OG fans, because one day the bubble will surely burst off. Capcom should be more creative and make more new titles in the future instead of making remakes for the sake of fans. 2 remakes are enough for now. Any more remakes should be done only after a really long time period of time

I feel it’s a bit unbalanced in terms that the game favours the masterminds over the survivors. It’s honestly quite difficult to win as a survivor and relatively easy as a mastermind.
Sick of the salty fans giving this gamemode unfair hate when it was literally made by a different team because it was outsourced and is also extremely fun to play. If you want to play mercenaries go back to the old games.

Instead of focusing their time and resources into creating a lengthy story campaign like they did with RE2 Remake, they made a multiplayer mode that nobody asked for. I knew Capcom couldn't trap lightning in a bottle twice.

RE2 Remake also cut corners, such as having an incoherent and dumbed down version of the A/B scenarios, plus paywalling the PS1 audio to make up for the new soundtrack being incomplete.

Re2 essentially had one campaign. What differences did Claire and Leon’s campaigns have? Sherry and Ada? One different boss fight? A and B scenarios were also a joke. The only differences were in the RPD, and even then, they were sparse. In comparison, re3 remake has multiple different difficulty settings which mix up enemy and item locations. You’re complaining about a non issue.
Such a bad multiplayer game, better fix RESIDENT EVIL 3 remake content instead of this smeh.

Also the game isn’t fair to new players AT ALL!!!! Broken mess!!!!! Going against higher players who already have their gear sets made. Also being able to revive players infinitely makes this unrealistic. Setting traps are very slow and don’t really cause that much damage
I actually liked this multiplayer and excited to play as the new characters and try out new maps, I think with regular updates this could be quite interesting, although I think the Mastermind is way too OP 😩
TheReal Agent47 once u get used to the game the mastermind is easy to take care off like if they use their bio weapons if it’s tyrant or William go into a room and circle them the other and pretty easy to deal with

Liam Carroll I enjoyed the game as well. I haven’t even played the campaign yet! The updates will make everything better as well. I also circle them around if they chase me. It’s kinda like what we do in DBD.

FYI, Capcom did not cut corners or have their budget cut to make Resistance. There were 2 different teams to make RE3 and RER. For people complaining about the HUD, you can still access the map so quit complaining. Instead, be grateful that we even have a map to utilize. I wish people would calm their horses and give it some time. Eventually, patches will improve the game.

I would rather have RE3 Mercenaries mode than this crap.
Besides a few short cuts, every other section of the video had you playing with the default starting pistol or the starting melee weapon instead of any weapons bought from the item box.
Are these just quick clips grabbed for the vid or actual gameplay? Because having a magnum in the end zone that uses 4 ammo per shot does a lot of damage and goes through reserves a heck of a lot faster than the starter pistol. I'd imagine the "unlimited ammo" buff would feel amazing with it or one of the super weapons (if affected).
Super weappns are affected 👌 the minigun feels amazing w infinite ammo. Also any fast weapon since her ability removes the need to reload. This IGN reviewer was garbo

They could have put a little more finesse into it seeming as the game itself is very short. But if you enjoy it then cool! Just my opinion is all.

This game is fun,hope more people play it as it has potential to grow. It just came out,give it some time to improve and see how players adapt and what gets added if its popularity increases. Excited to see Jill added to the survivors soon too.

Did it occur to you that the lack of a mini map was intentional. You have to make a choice of whether or not you play with the map up. Turning it on makes it a visual oobstruction on purpose.
If this is responsible for making the main campaign even the slightest bit shorter I'm pissed....I don't care if this is the best multiplayer ever to exist...its not your main selling point and 90% of your fans wouldn't buy this if it was a stand alone

Connection issues and half hour mastermind waiting times are more the issue to avoid this one. And Capcom never fixes anything. Street Fighter 5 servers have never worked. When it comes out, either it works or it's a dud.

They really should've have created multiplayer as a PVE experience when your a low lvl going against a high lvl mastermind your pretty much done. They should've revamped outbreak, but were still going to play resistance regardless hoping they'll listen to our request

I'd like a Resident Evil game where you play as Ada Wong & she encounters some of the villains of the franchise & also works along with them. Some of the villains that show up could be, Albert Wesker, Alex Wesker, Krauser, Nikolia, ect. You'd also be able to play as the other villains in there own campaigns or some type of versus or Online mode.
Lol the damage indicator / damage point system is kind of tacky. They really could have done much better than this but it's very arcady.

Nobody asked for this side game. Players just wanted a Remake of the RE3, similar to RE2: Remake.
Instead Capcom chopped the Clocktower, made a scripted Nemesis, removed ragdoll Zombies, Gore, etc. and invested in a Multiplayer mode with multiple levels nobody cares, where you play with futile, non-memorable teenage characters.

@@Aw-gw1zz the original nemesis wasnt scripted. he appears unexpectedly everytime u go into a door or something. then he chases you throughout the game unless theres a Scene coming up or a puzzle is completed. i may or may have not gotten my facts right, but from what i remember playing it, he is like that.
@@citrussam8113 Nemesis was entirely scripted in the original it was not random depended on what rooms you went in first. In the downtown area if you went to the restaurant first he showed up there. But if you went into the newspaper first he showed up there it wasn't random at all he was scripted every time
6 is way too generous for this mode. The Beta was an ABSOLUTE mess. If one survivor leaves the game is basically finished. It is very advantageous towards the mastermind side and it isn't balanced at all. I don't get what they were also thinking with the "all survivors must wait by the door to proceed"... There was always that one survivor that loves to troll. It's a mess, it's very buggy and it just seems like a very rushed game mode just stitched together towards the end. Don't get me wrong I was looking forward to a multiplayer RE mode, multiplayer modes help in keeping a games longevity. Just not this one.

Tbh capcom should stop making anymore remakes in the near future. Everything's got an end to itself. U can't just go on doing something just because it satisfies all OG fans, because one day the bubble will surely burst off. Capcom should be more creative and make more new titles in the future instead of making remakes for the sake of fans. 2 remakes are enough for now. Any more remakes should be done only after a really long time period of time

I feel it’s a bit unbalanced in terms that the game favours the masterminds over the survivors. It’s honestly quite difficult to win as a survivor and relatively easy as a mastermind.
