Thanks, @Veracity Hill. Dan McClellan puts out a number of helpful videos, highlighting the value of responsible scholarship. But when he goes into postmodern critical theory mode as a way of knocking historic orthodox Christianity, it gets tiresome after awhile. You are right, for someone who hates apologetics, he is quite the apologist for his point of view. For Dan, it is all about "negotiating" with the text and "identity politics." At some point, one of his atheist bible scholar colleagues is bound to call him out on something. It is just a matter of time.
So many apologists would be so much happier if they could come out of the closet. It saddens me.
