hi guys, I am also finished my theology study and I can understand that your a big fan of rapture song. I'm not here to judge you guys. But, in my perspective, the lyrics is very bad theology. Moreover, there is no such rapture event. what I mean is that the biblical never talk about rapture. there is second coming of Christ but not rapture. In addition, rapture is not the gospel. The real gospel is Christ our Lord Jesus. The gospel is when Christ will return, he will make all things New (New Creation). Our Christians hope is not a rapture or going to live in heaven internally. Our hope is heaven will come down to the earth. For those who like the lyrics of this song, I suggest you to searching the doctrine of rapture. Where did the rapture come from?, how many time will Jesus come? Lastly, does Matthew 24 really talk about rapture or the second coming of Jesus Christ? please answer these questions and let me know, than we will talk about it. Thanks!!!!! God bless you all.
