- A fantastic but tough day as we walk around the Glenfinnan horseshoe. These are amazing rough munros with lots of character. This certainly took it out of me and I was beat after! but still a fantastic day!

Another epic adventure with Andy and yourself. Santa needs to bring you a wee van heater. Great trip in on the bikes..brutal climbs in the snow though the views were...fantastico. A long long day and I felt sorry for you having to drive home at the end..as usual the background music was excellent...many thanks and best wishes.

A great walk and it was definitely tiring in the snow but still one of my favorite days in the hills so far! Fantastic!

It was a cracking day mate! One of the best on this Munro journey so far! It was hard too, I think not getting a great sleep in the van doesn’t help! Still fantastic though! Until the next time mate! 😎😎

Yeh it’s a fair old slog for these 2 and I got the totally opposite conditions when I did them☀️☀️ and I know which I’d prefer☃️🥶🥶
Great hike mate and the audio was fine from the phone. And yeh it’s a slog from one to another up there. Great cycle road up to the bothy.👍

Cheers Franko! Yeah it was a bit Baltic! Great when you are under the quilt but getting out was torture 😂😂😂. Then putting on freezing gear was like…what am I doing 😂😂.
Brilliant when we eventually got out on the hill though and what a fantastic walk!

Another fantastic day out on the hills Paul, looks like you cracked it with the weather, it looked so crisp & clear - even though it started baltic!! 🥶Looked like you enjoyed the slide mate - snow brings oot the inner bairn in us. Good to see you learned from the OPEX on the head torch front too 😄 Oh, you can take up snooker after you reach that magical 282 Soldier on mate and be safe on our glorious mountains.🏔👍

That looked a cold one in the van Paul the poncho looked like a good piece of thermal insulation as well, these 2 are a fantastic day out great to see the views that day i was up was quite strong winds and the cloud just wouldn't move of the first top. the bike ride up the glen is great as well i quite enjoyed that to. Brilliant views nice video and good graphics liked the route map especially. I did these in boiling hot weather 😂different to the cold ( I prefer the winter) I remember the ridge between the two Munro’s was hard work very rugged it’s been well recorded the Bonnie Prince Charlie slept the night on the second Munro Sgurr Thuilm a very early munroist lol cracking video as always brought back good memories ❤

Hey Paul, that was brass monkeys in the morning LOL have you done a video on your van looks the part with the TV etc ? it was a cracking hike you and Andy had with great views all day by the looks of it , it certainly slows you down in the winter compared to summer, but winter hiking on a day like that you just cant beat it, ATB James

Your vid didn't show how steep that ascent was , I did it the other way around and thought it a hell of a decent...
But why have you got your bike helmet the wrong way around 😅
I know! We had to do a bit of off post scrambling around that steep eroded section! It was loaded with snow and extremely precarious! So the camera was put away! I miss all the best bits!
Yeah it was a helmet head torch clash! Worked better backwards 😂😂
Can you tell us what face you use for your stats on your watch
Hi Eddie, where to start 🥴. My watch is a garmin fenix 7. Within the hiking activity section I have set up that same screen for all activities. In the garmin activity you can customize this screen to whatever you want! You access it by selecting the activity, settings then data screens, select layout. I watched a TH-cam video on the best activity settings and used that as a guide! That probably doesn’t help?? 😂😂😂.
I think the best thing to do is TH-cam it! There is loads of excellent videos 👍👍. I’m crap 🥴🥴cheers! Paul

I dodged a bullet with that trip! Your camera couldn't even read the stats 😂over 9hrs after the previous day and a cold night in the van, no wonder your legs were goosed! FANTASTIC adventure though and a great looking area. Just shows how much you love being out there - knocking out summer condition Munro times in winter...that is indomitable spirit. 🏔🏔👍

Ye olde spirit - got to use every tool in the box sometimes! The freezer van is a different thing altogether, the olde spirit is handy for that too. 😆👍

No really bagged the munros if yer using a bike for half of it . The walk in is part and parcel. Only cheating yersel , as long as yer happy I suppose.
I also use my car to drive the 150 miles to get there so I guess my Munro journey is bust! 😂😂😂😂. I did use a boat once to get to Ireland! Should have got my Speedo’s on😎😎.
