I've owned mine for a couple months. The rowdier the trail the more it shines. I say "holy moly" a lot riding this bike because it's that good. From cornering to jumping to bombing through chunk I can't fault it. Its more nimble and precise than my analog and climbs nearly as fast as my full power ebike so after my first ride on the SN I realized it made those bikes both seem pointless. I still feel that way. I have the core 2. Size L. I'm 6'0 tall and 185lbs. I get about 3,200-3,500ft of elevation out of mine on boost mode. I had to tape around the motor where the cables connect to it since I was getting water in there. Since then, zero issues and I'm in WA so the bike gets soaked. I'm generally riding it on double black trails with steep tech, jumps and high speed corners and it was built for exactly that. Unreal bike IMO
I will push back on the sarcasm here cuz I’ve had great customer service from the folks at YT and if you talk to any bike shop mechanic e bikes are all high maintenance simply due to the nature of adding more moving parts.
I had a bad wiring harness issue on my YT Decoy. It stopped working when I was about 7 miles from my truck. I did email them and they quickly sent me a new wiring harness and the problem was solved. Customer support was good, but you are right about not having the convenience of bike shop support close by to fix the issue much quicker.
Electronic issues for any ebike, you always go to a dealer for the motor anyway. Usually that will be your local bike shop, depending on where you live.
@@kickin123 100% agree! A lesser know fact about TQ the company is they developed the motors for the MARS ROVER - no small feat in itself! Taking the master minds behind this incredible company I believe they could easily leap frog the entire emtb motor drive system in future product launches! The TQ motor is also by far my favourite motor - phenomenal piece of engineering and super reliable design! I have no doubt they have somethig very special in the pipeline to follow up on their HPR 50 motor! Be patient - it will def be worth waiting for! As for Fazua, I wouldn't touch any bike with Fazua - absolute nightmare reputation they now have!
TQ still have many problems... knew that a bit late but well. The problem otherwise is really not the power for me but range. The new battery is nice but just also bigger...so no new tech here!
Another very good video! I think I'll switch to e-mtb next year and thank you for these reviews which are very useful. It definitely doesn't make me want to switch to a Fazua engine after everything I can read or see, I had spotted the YT Decoy SN precisely.. Are you going to test the Mondraker Dune? these are the 2 models that I like in light motorization for enduro practice on a bike around 20 kgs. After in full motorization, it would undoubtedly be the Orbea Wild
After having issues dealing with YT warranties (very slow responses, hassle to get warranties approved, months to get replacement parts) I would never buy an e-bike from YT. Any electronic issues and you are likely without your bike for months until YT finally fixes something for you
It’s worth mentioning i’ve had solid warranty and service xp with YT. I’ve had 2 Jeffsys, a Tues, and a Capra. I had 2 small warranty issues that they handled just fine. Also my LBS has always handled issues i’ve had with components even though i bought my bikes direct from YT. I’d like this bike but want it with the dji motor. Saving me $$$ and waiting for one.
When I first received my bike straight out of the box it did not power on. I did not feel like driving back to the mill (1.5 hours away), so I decided to dissect the issue and upon tearing everything apart one of the motor wires was ripped off. Now 8 months later it’s doing it again and after filing a claim and a bunch of back and forths, they determined that the display was bad. With that said it’s on back order and I don’t have a date to receive the part. When the bike works it works but never again YT, atleast not an e bike
I love this bike! I rented it from YT in Bentonville and really enjoyed it!
Right on sounds like a good trip!

The 2 most warrantied companies team up!
Canyon bikes has entered the chat.
Loving the reviews guys
Thanks we appreciate it! Hope you enjoy the grand finale tomorrow!
This is the perfect combo! Legendary customer service quality from YT and trusted reliability from Fazua! Trully amazing!!
🙈

Thanks for sharing and glad it was a quick and easy fix.
Thanks guys for the great review!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it.
This bike with the dji motor and I'm in. Would be a great combination.
I think we’re seeing a common phrase here….basically everyone wants every bike with the DJI motor. 😂
Thought about this but ended up with an Orbea Rise LTD glad I did
Nice, glad you enjoy the Rise!

When is TQ going to up the power of their motor?
100%... my favorite motor by far. But needs to be bumped to, heck even 65nm I'd be happy for... and ditch the 360 battery....

YT, here is an ebike with a smaller motor and less powerful battery for $2K more. Why?
you didnt get the Maven specced model so at leat no complain on the brakes :)
Cheap & great.
That Fasua motor seems like a problem. I would want rock solid in a bike for $6k
Love the gloss/matte black finish! Fazua not so much..
Looks good huh
6:21 lol
compare it to spectral onfly pls
Fazua needs to fix their shit, other than that awesome bike, price components
Can we get a “like” counter in the top corner. 😂
That descendents graphic is sick!
Yeah!!! 🤘🐺🤘
I rode a core 1 decoy, definitely didnt feel like a lite ebike lol, massive travel, big bike
That’s a different bike than this SN model

Thank you. It's always great to hear positive experiences as well! Appreciate you sharing yours.
@@TheLoamWolfI’ve had nothing but positive experiences with YT and the FB groups have 99% positive things to say as well
Does it feels like riding a yeti 160, because it looks very similar
You could buy 2 of these for price of 1 trek just saying
Fazua is a hard NO for me
First
Quick draw McGraw.
