@@bestusername5235 no, I think you didn't get that stand fully. That stand works with fate to predict buccilatis death, he was guaranteed to die but becuqse Mista tried to save him, it delayed his death and added abbachio and narancha to those who were fated to die
And cause what Araki would have done with fugo instead

@@BaLiSTicOptix that is actually just what fugo thought tho. I think his stand with anitvirus from gold expierience would have been busted as hell. He could just spam the virus all the time without worrying about any members of his crew dying. I do not think it's a plot hole or anything but it's weird to me that Giorno did not mention it when Fugo was still on the fence about coming to the boat. But I guess it just comes to show that Fugo in the end was to scared to fight rather then could not.
Fugo had a redemtion arc in a light novel and leveled up. He's good now. Even if it is non Canon.

Fugo was originally going to betray the gang but was ultimately written out of the story because Araki didn't want to do that for Fugo and he got his redemption arc in the spin off novel where his stand also evolved.

@@SinnermanZeke I know that fate exists in Jojo. My point was that if Kishimoto went through with keeping him in the story, Fugo would be a spy for Diavolo, and therefore they probrably would have died even sooner than in canon. (acception is Bruno, who would die in the way rolling stones fortold)

He doesn't deserve hate to begin with. It's not like he was the traitor, Bucciarati and the the other betrayed the boss. Fugo only made the rational decision of not going with them. He feared the boss and decided not to go against him. Bucciarati himself was okay with everyone who decided not follow him and Giorno in their betrayal because he knew it wasn't up to him to make his friends risk their lifes for a decision he made that wasn't related to their roles in the gang

Gotta be honest, i never cared about Hamon like that. I mean, it's definitely somewhat unique but a lot of the properties of Hamon can be traced back to Hokuto no Ken, the iconic manga series that very strongly inspired Jojo part 1, for sure. It's even just as violent and brutal as Jojo, lol.

I mean your points about Fugo is WHY he wasn't there. Araki realized how overpowered Purple Haze was, so he wrote him out. He could have killed Diavolo like Speedwagon kills it with his wholesome vibe. He tends to do that if the Stand he makes is too strong in an ally.

That's not the reason at all. Araki was planning on revealing that Fugo was a secret spy for Diavolo, but due to going through some issues in his personal life, such as depression, he couldn't take revealing such a betrayal, so he decided to write him out rather than going through with his original plan.
