Good speech! I read Thucydides a couple of years ago and it is a great read, I recommend it. This summed up the most important points. Reading it, one easily gets lost in the dramatic details, losing perspective. As I suppose experiencing a war for real is like. I think it was well presented, I don't understand what those who comment negatively here are referring to. I've discovered Dr. Craig Nation and will look for more of him in lectures and interviews.
Poor speaker and just "wings it". Surely we can do better!? "The Teaching Company" (Great Courses, audio and video) is at a much higher level! Not impressed.
But on the other hand, the microphone is badly placed and there's a random echo throughout the audio track. You shouldn't forget all the ums and ahs, either. Why do you leave them out, Titus?
Considering it’s Politicians who start wars it’s a damn shame this history isn’t required reading for anyone who seeks power.

No one is interested in Colin Powell

You dodn't seem to be familiar with the lecture format. I thought he did well.
This guy's terrible diction and slurred speech grunting and pausing make him completely Un listenable.
Titus Groan I thought it was his accent (I’m not American so can’t place it, New York / New Jersey?) and he spoke brilliantly. One man’s meat etc
