About 227: In a world gone "condo," apartment building 227 is much more than just a street address--it's a haven from the fast-paced life of Washington D.C. for its many tenants. Through the good times and the bad, through rent hikes and garbage strikes, the tenants of 227 are a close-knit, tough, not always harmonious family, and Mary Jenkins is the "thread" that keeps them together.
About Diff'rent Strokes: Hilarious and heart-warming series about the family of Phillip Drummond, a millionaire, his 13-year old daughter, and adopted sons from Harlem, Arnold, and Willis, aged eight and twelve respectively.
About One Day At A Time: Set in Indianapolis, this beloved, long-running series takes a comedic but realistic look at divorcee Ann Romano (Bonnie Franklin) and her daily struggle to find her own identity while raising her two daughters, rebellious Julie (Mackenzie Phillips), 16 when the series begins, and level-headed Barbara (Valerie Bertinelli), a year younger. Even though Ann pretends to be liberated and secure, she's always treading the line between her former, deep-rooted dependence and her newly acquired independence. Building superintendent Dwayne Schneider (Pat Harrington Jr.) helps take care of the family, while lawyer David Kane (Richard Masur) tempts Ann to reconsider her single state. Ann's priority, however, is discovering her own potentials, which includes a new career, raising her daughters, and learning more about herself and her world.
About Good Times: Life in the Chicago projects is never easy, however, the Evans family never gives up trying to make the best of things.

The Norman Lear production team had great writers that weren't afraid to write about dramatic & traumatic situations, while still entertaining fans with comedy.

Those episodes with Penny made me sooo angry yet sad too. I was ecstatically happy when Willona won custody.

I'm glad Penny found trust and love in Wilona, because l think Mrs. Gordon would have killed Penny if she had stayed with her.
