Corn Harvest 2021 John Deere 4420 Bringing in The Harvest

- Corn harvest 2021 is coming to an end. Corn is dry and so is the weather so we are finishing up. Got a little help hauling from a local elevator owner and the 4420 can run without stopping.

I always thought if I needed to buy a combine the 4420 would be a perfect fit for me.

Nice video! I ran a 4400 in wheat and oats a bit around 1985 or 6 in Frontier County Nebraska. These 4420s look like John Deere just gave them the paint job of the other 20 series combines, but didn't upgrade the cab or auger system.
My cousin still runs a 4400 and there is almost no difference between it and mine.

The Ol' 4420 moved right along thru the field. Looked like you guys had the combine setup about right from the looks of the corn in the hopper there. Glad to hear that you guys got your harvest finished up. Hope you & your family have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Man that corn looked pretty good I’m surprised it only did 180 couple. At least you didn’t have any breakdowns or issues. That combine got the job done and it was nice of your friend to help you. I’m sure it’s bitter sweet to be done with harvest. Looking forward to seeing next years crop!

Man yeah!! Harvest wrapped up!! I sure have enjoyed the ride this year watching you farm Mr Bill! Am looking fwd to next year as well!! That corn looked good, the ole.jd did an amazing job!! It's been a good year. Had a lot of fun. Overall the corn did well and enjoyed running the combine. We will see what the next year brings. I'm sure thankful to be able to spend time with the little guys out on the farm. They will be running things before you know it. Sure appreciate you being here watching. Man I wish I had a 4420 I believe them ol gals would cut circles around my ol 7700
My dad had a JD 45 when I was a kid but the 4420 is my first John Deere. I'm really pleased with it. Thanks for watching!!

Overall it averaged 170 bushel per acre.
How many acres do you farm?
