I sorta wish Rick didn't turn out to be the character he did. He's actually really cute and started out as a really sweet person and i would've loved for Terri to have an actual nice guy in her life
Man Ellie's dad leaves and then she have to deal with her mother alone with her drinking that just leads Ellie to cut. Her cutting herself always broke my heart. I never had a show that made me cry as much as Degrassi have.
I feel like they rushed a lot of the storylines in the earlier seasons. Probably mostly because of format constrictions (you know, 20 minute episodes that aired once every week or so), it's one thing that I love about the most recent seasons, they had a lot more time to build storylines. Although to me this does not feel as rushed as the whole "Emma has an eating disorder" storyline, I hated how they dealt with that.
I love how even though Paige and Ellie aren’t friends yet here (they become friends when they’re in college), Paige was concerned about Ellie and how she was cutting herself. She basically saved her life
This episode helped me see the signs in my best friend and get her help she was cutting so much everyday and always wore long sleeves nobody knew. I saved her life b/c of this.
This is strangely the most confident Toby has EVER been in an episode of Degrassi . I mean he was a savage ever single line he said ! He was totally mr. cool guy all episode , not even joking .
I know what it's like growing up with a drunk for a mom, i know first hand exactly what ellie is going through, it's hard when you feel so alone and feels like your world is crumbling and you can't do anything😣

Yep I always say that it pretty much went downhill after the 4th of 5th season & prolly should hav stopped there (or kept its original formula since they should show the original cast graduating) The original Degrassi was 4 years (5 seasons) & pretty solid

They rushed tf outta this storyline. They should have taken it slower and built it up more.
