Not being rude to you personally, - please don't think it. So even German machines go wrong, I would have thought an item like that would have been thoroughly tested at the factory before being allowed to leave in view of the cost of it, and I thought us British were supposed to be the ones with shoddy workman-ship or was this a rushed order.
Christopher Lovelock Yes and no. It's original a German company but the head office is since a decade or more in the Suisse ( where the family lives now ) maybe because of the taxes ;-) They produce in Germany cranes and refrigerators, dozers and track loaders in Austria and Excavators in France. Mining Trucks coming from the US.
Most interesting Ben, I'm not surprised for one moment that the 'family' reside in Switzerland, - I don't think so much a 'maybe' as far as tax is concerned more a 'very likely'. ....... Well for better or worse we will be out of the EU in a couple of years, - as usual our MP's are starting to 'run scared', - our current PM is going and that won't be a bad loss. So now all the 'political' jostling for power will start to take place - that will be interesting to watch. I see several other EU countries are starting to talk about a 'referendum' - and all our Euro MP's in Brussels will be out of a job - what a shame.
balmesh I was surprised of the result. I thought 51.4% against Brexit so it was the contrary. Scotland will leave the UK, NI also and Wales? I was never a friend of that EU how it is. Germany and GB payed the rest of Europe. What a big shit!
Agree with everything you say and I quite hope for Scottish and Welsh independence. At the moment they can vote on anything English but the English MPs cannot vote on things Scottish or Welsh :( I actually hope for the break-up of the EU or its reversion to a trading organisation.
