This is the first time I've enjoyed learning about history! Thanks for starting here, learning about these people that were here far before the US is filling a serious hole in my education.
I did not know of the Hohokam until I watched this video. My AP US History teacher taught us that about 30-15,000 years ago early humans arrived on the American continent, and skipped right up to Mesoamericans, Aztecs, and Iroquois Confederacy. I never knew about previous civilizations before but I suspected that it wasn't well-documented or well-founded to really cover in class. This was a great lesson!

I graduated college almost six years ago with a degree in history, but I'm still watching this whole series religiously. Absolutely amazing work

So this is going to be a weekly series?
I hope so because waiting weeks for a new video is agonising when the content is so interesting!
Yes, one a week is how I understand it!
this is very fascinating
Incredible work. Great content, and a great education in how we practice history. It's information dense while being accessible. Thank you so much!
Would love to see you update this based on the research in “dawn of everything” that questions this linear progression!
11:15 Do you want a historian...or an oral surgeon? 😜
