If you put the 2 ends through the eye of the needle in the beginning, you don't need a knot on your thread, you have a natural loop to go through at the end.

What color thread is best to match this bracelet? What color did you use? I don't know if you specified a color and I just missed it. I'm multitasking lol. I can't find brown thread. Mainly black, smoke, frost. I found one beige but idk if that's too light for this leather cord. I want it to look exactly like the photos in your pdf.
