- They just keep coming in FS22, we really are spoilt for great UK maps. and Moss Valley is no exception.

Thanks for this VR it's a beautiful map and it shows off the hills and valleys of Sheffield exactly how they are. I live close to this farm so when I saw it I immediately thought that it was somewhere near here, but I couldn't put my finger on it. Even before he said it was from around Sheffield I could tell by the background that it had to be Sheffield I'm so glad that you did this map I can't wait to play it I see you did a bit of artistic licence on the map, but you have to do that to get all the things in that you need, anyway thanks again.

Maps like this for those of us who are born and raised in Great Britain are the holy grail of maps. I could lose myself for hundreds of hrs on this.
Those who say 'Can I remove xyz?' 'Gates are too narrow' Etc etc etc. Really need to just pass it by or try and play it without doing any of that. This is exactly how farming has been for many many years and is still common to many all over the country.
Seeing the old barns next to the modern portal frames and also the split levels really do just show how it is on so many farms.
Yes there are always going to be bigger farms using the big equipment and farming several thousand acres and in fact there is one literally within view of where I am sat typing this but for that one large farm there are twenty exactly like these shown on here. All still farming using suitable machinery for the size of the infrastructure.
More than once as you toured the map I was 'Look at that view!' The border really makes the map feel real and a much bigger thing. The immersion factor is what makes it. It made me feel warm and cosy and could see myself literally living this map for months of real time.
That open walled area was just screaming out to be built on and was a lovely touch. Out the way in a cracking spot and could see so much potential.
Maps like this make me want to do my own videos but know I never will.
It should be illegal to edit maps like this once released 🙂

Anyway Id best get back to The Oaks Realistic server and stop dreaming and waffling on!

Beautiful map tour FSG. So many to choose from. Like you said, I love real-life maps too. Wish I had time to play them all. Might just get this map to just drive around and enjoy the country side and spectacular views. You are still, the best map reviewer and this presentation is why.

I live very close to this farm, and he has got it pretty much spot-on the place is called "Moss Valley Fine Meats" it is situated southeast of the Sheffield city centre in between ridgeway and meadowhead and you were right about all the rubbish there's plenty of it there. I can't wait to have a go on this map. It looks like I'm finally going to leave Court Farm.👨🔧

OMG l, everything about this shop is awesome, as you mentioned Parked tractors and equipment, etc.. And yeah, that effect when buying the tractor is awesome
Got to love a uk map, there is a huge farm close to me in east anglia that i would love to somehow get turned into a map
Great preview as always. Videos just keep getting better and better. Fingers crossed he's able to pull off getting this to console. Even though I love in the states I find myself always going to the UK maps. Maybe my mostly scottish/Irish mix is calling to me lol.

Such a beautiful map. I always admire the scenery when a map is done well. I don’t play a lot of British maps honestly. The tight quarters are a bit much sometimes. I might give this a go though. Thanks for an awesome tour. I’ll tell you, the quality of your videos and soundtracks are just incredible.

I think that these farms have their own charm and beauty to it, the small and old buildings etc.. I think it is lost with new modern new big buildings and equipment. I think it's sad. Yeah they are known for the mess around the farm🙈 but it's a part of the erea, and wouldn't be the same without it

Do you think he can do something here. Or, is there anyway you can advise me on how I can make the changes through a mod or something. thanks pal
You should be able to adapt that through the XML not something I’ve done but it’s about changing a few parameters.
Where is the safest and latest updated version of the map at the moment? I miss playing on this map, but I had to quit because I got problems with floating JCB and floating bales as well as stuck bales on the JCB after trying to put wheat bale in the smallest in game bale shredder on the smallest cow farm

@@TheFarmSimGuy i just downloaded it from that page and put the file into the mod folder, but the map wasn't available in the menu, even if was into the installed mod folder. So I downloaded it from the in game download menu an then it worked. But the bugs i have reported is still there that vr said was fixed.

Haha loads, usually if the grass is short it’s because a tractor has flattened it rather than proactively cutting it

Very nice looking, but the grass seems a bit too tall, maybe better and more realistic to use a short meadow type grass like on Calmsden.

It’s a nice map, but it would be nice to have a UK map that actually reflects UK farming. If my farmyards looked that untidy I’d be embarrassed. You need plenty of room to manoeuvre the large equipment and wouldn’t have grass growing everywhere! Also with such narrow roads I can see problems using AD on the map. Not all UK farms are serviced with such narrow roads! I’m not dissing the map or the creator just pointing out most UK farms are tidy and have wide raids between fields!
I’ve got to disagree, maybe done in Suffolk and East Anglia but the majority of Uk farms are like this, and does reflect that area of the country, it’s based on a real location. Believe it or not untidy farms are pretty standard, I’ve spent enough time on enough of them, Also you wouldn’t use large equipment exactly for the points you make, the environment won’t allow it, the machinery is usually small to medium sized
I actually farm irl FSG and I can concede your point about untidy farms and the equipment size. I hadn’t realised it was based on the actual real map so obviously the roads will be narrow as they are irl. I’m still saying we need a UK map with a nice big central farmyard surrounded by nice wide roads, that’s what mine’s like irl!

If you want to, via GE but why would you? just play a map with not hedges and fences

They are included as part of the map 👍
What does seasonal hedges mean and do ?
Like the trees they’ll turn brown in autumn and shed their leaves in the winter

I just hope they don't put those damn hedgerows on the map. Or at least have a way to completely delete them en masse. Ballyspring is an awesome map except it's got so much bush that it needs a Brazilian wax. I hate hedges.

@@TheFarmSimGuy I know that's true. I been there. But it's farm sim. The dang hedgerows don't have to be so annoying that when you cut one down, there's and invisible stump every few feet.

@@buckets210 all depends on how long it takes Giants to review and feedback and if there are any updates needed, then it'll need to be updated by the modder, then resubmitted again to giants so very difficult to put a date on it

@@jonathanbarnes7981Haha, yeah sorry, I know as much as you do, there's never any release dates for mods. but it is in testing and from what I played on it, there's nothing extreme that would slow it down. so hopefully sooner rather than later
