Hearing them talk about all of the Shinobu figures that all look the same definitely resonated with me. I think that almost all of the Demon Slayer and JJK scales are very similar and not very interesting. I really hope they come out with some alternate outfit figs of them :>
As a big collector myself I love seeing these girls get the statues they want regardless of the price it’s hard to explain to ppl why we waste our money on these figures only collectors know the feeling of owning all these characters you love lol

Loved watching this podcast-style video. Really appreciate being able to relax after a busy work at work and watch this. I agree with a lot of what all three of you said. If things were priced like Myethos does I would preorder so much more. I really enjoy long videos like this. 💖 I agree with the talk about the bonus parts, I don't care much for the keychains but when it is a part of what makes the character it is disappointing when I would need a proxy to get them.

If the reason is because she looks young fine but any other complaint is crazy. Then Daijoububu goes after the actual best bunny. C.C is AMAZING! The buttttt! Crazy. (Ok the angle criticism is right tho). The real bunny you guys need to go after is the Shiro NGNL one. That one is just…wow no.

Question - Have you thought about expanding your collection from not just figures but also including Ball Jointed Dolls? Like Volks or SmartDoll. I never in a million years thought I'd be collecting Anime figures, and even more so, I never thought I'd be collecting dolls of any sort... but I got into it about 2 years ago. It's a sickness just like figure collecting! :D Anyway, hope you enjoy your day!

My very first figure was Shoyo Hinata from Haikyuu, from the Banpresto Master series. I got him in Kyoto, Japan on my last day and stashed him in my carry-on, lol. I can't remember how much I payed for him but I keep remembering a number 4, so maybe 4000 yen?? I bought him in 2017. My favourite figure, currently, is a Syaoran Li (Cardcaptor Sakura) second-hand Kotobukiya figure that I got from another collector from Portugal through MyFigureCollection for £94.48. A close section is my Horohoro from Shaman King Kotobukiya figure, that I got for £82.89. He's a newer figure, and the sculpt is incredible. I'm not sure if I've gotten a bad deal on a legit figure since I've only recently started collecting them for real. I had that Hinata figure and a Yuri Katsuki (Yuri on Ice) Eros vers. nendoroid for like 2 and a half years(the second of which i've never taken out of the box and displayed lol), then I started buying them properly late 2019. But I did buy some bootlegs that I seriously regret since I didn't know what I was doing. Two Nezuko bootlegs that either looked HORRIBLE, or arrived broken, and a Cardcaptor Sakura nendoroid bootleg which i instantly regretted once she arrived but to be fair I got a refund before she arrived so....free trash! x'D A figure that didn't live up to expectations would be my Shinsou Hitoshi (My hero academia) Ichiban Kuji prize figure. Don't get me wrong, he's well made, my only thing that didn't live up to expectations is that his hair is such a dark shade of purple it looks black sometimes, contrary to his actual hair colour which is more obviously purple. In fact the clothes he's wearing are also a darker shade of blue than I expected. He's still cool. Most overpriced figure I bought is my Kyo Sohma kotobukiya figure. I got the Yuki Sohma one for £70.25, and got Kyo at aftermarket price for £156.57(shipping included, he was about £130-something without). T_T But Fruits basket figures are hard to come by, especially good ones, so I had to get him regardless. I also forked out the huge price for that Gojo figure but as I don't have him physically with me yet, I didn't say him first. Figures that I'm highly anticipating and definitely buying are the Nana Oosaki and Nana Komatsu Aniplex figures. They're gorgeous, look them up on MyFigureCollection! Who knows when they'll come out though, I'll be stalking the figure sites regardless. Most anticipated figure that I've pre-ordered is hard to pick!!! The one I'm feeling the most anticipation is my Hyakkimaru from Dororo right now, but that's only because I've seen youtubers unboxing him but mine isn't due to come till the end of the month or next month...! >:I But for one that I still have a while til it comes is a Wizarmon and Tailmon Digimon figure by G.E.M rerelease that's coming in late February. Figures that everyone's excited about but I'm not is bunny figures in general. But that's just my stance right now, maybe one day a bunny figure I actually like will come along. I think my spending limit right now is £200. though Gojo cost me £201, lol. Right now, I'm not sure about a favourite manufacturer, but I do have quite a few Kotobukiya figures so maybe it's that one? I have Joker (Persona 5), Syaoran Li (Cardcaptor Sakura), Roy Mustang (Fullmetal Alchemist), Yuki and Kyo Sohma (Fruits Basket), and Horohoro (Shaman King). Second place is Banpresto since I have 5 from that one. I regret not getting my hands on the Shoyo Hinata nendoroid when I saw it because at the time I didn't care for nendo's, but now I really want him lol. A figure I'd steal from Animbae is her No Game No Life Shiro figure. I didn't watch the anime but I think she's so so cute and love the colours. One I'd steal from Daijoububu is the Fate Grand Order Ozymandius figure, for very similar reasons to the Shiro figure. I didn't watch any Fate, but I think Ozymandius is hot, lol. And finally, one I'd steal from Gwyn Collects is the Tamaki from Fire Force figure. Yet again it's a series I haven't really watched - I just love her design! I wouldn't dare steal the holy-grail Bokuto and Akaashi, even though I love them. I couldn't do that to you Gwyn! Also I'd much rather have a Hinata nendo'. There's SO MANY rereleases I'm desperate for: The Promised Neverland Ray, Emma and Norman figures by Aniplex and Wing, D.Gray-man Hallow's Lavi by G.E.M, Banana Fish Ash Lynx and Eiji Okumura by Kotobukiya, Cardcaptor Sakura Yue by HobbyMax, Digimon Adventure Angewoman Precious G.E.M Holy Arrow version by MegaHouse, the Bellfine My Hero Academia figures (especially Jiro), Cardcaptor Sakura Sakura ARTFXJ by Kotobukiya, Killua Zoldyk DX Figure by Banpresto, and Your Lie in April's Kaori Miyazono by Good Smile Company. Basically 80% of my wished list atm. If I could get any scale figure, first thing that comes to mind is Hatsuharu Sohma from Fruits Basket. I love him so much and he gets no love from the figure makers! For Nendoroid, I would get Chii from Chobits. For Bunny figures... How about Nezuko, a la Inosuke's dream in the Demon Slayer Movie, that'd be hillarious. Because no figures for this exist and I'd love it, a Vision of Escaflowne statue featuring Van with his wings reaching out to Hitomi! I also like the sound of that Yuji figure. And a Sukuna that's actually good, yes to that, too. I agree on that Sukuna figure that's already getting made, though, his face looks off.
@@judymcintyre1087 yeah I'm pretty certain she had the shiro bunny figure but haven't seen it for a bit. I just thought the comment she made on the taiga figure was slightly strange. It's fine to not like the figure, there are lots of bunny figures that I don't care for. I just thought her reasoning was slightly hypocritical
I also honestly like the Kotobukiya Shinobu best, just preordered her from Crunchyroll to make sure I get the bonus faceplate. I think the base looks a lot nicer than the more expensive one. 😊
As a person who spent $30,000 and more incoming so far on scale figures since 2017 and as a person who's ONLY focused on figures (don't really follow anime culture that much, just really like Japanese figures), this kind of video is a wet dream for me. Thank you!
I *would* rebuy a figure if it comes down to it. Now, thus far I haven't actually rebought any, but I have made "upgrades", buying otherwise essentially duplicate figures. Thus far, the list for that is only two, but that's more due to the fact that I went directly to scales. The only figures that are below proper scale tier are where the character aren't released in any better version, at least not for that particular attire/pose.
My heart breaks knowing there is no Tendo nendoroid. 😭 I would love to see him with his manga! Some favourite poses/faceplates I want to see: him singing his little song with his fingers pointed up, for sure one of his angry faces (too many good ones to pick from) and one of his more teasing/ taunting expressions. I know most nendoroids only come with 2 additional faceplates but I feel like Tendo needs more like Bokuto there are so many faces you can do. Really hope they don’t skimp out on him!🤞

Also the bunny that suprises me the most that still isn't made after all these freaking years, is a bunny figure of Emilia in a purple/white suit. How is this not a thing already? We got a million figures of Rem and Ram, but why not Emilia?? Sorry for my little rend lol
I too don understand the taiga thing :3 edit: you know, for the chika kimono figure by wing, there is a figure in mdzs, where the figure preview was shown years ago like 3-4? years before and only NOW LATELY do we have have the painted revised version of it and finally an announcement date. I wish and hope the same for chika and kaguya for this too cus as long as there is no cancellation news about them, theres HOPE. i swear.
Jeanne Alter barely fits in a detolf but just because the top of her flag is really flexible, so it can be squished a bit. If you don't want the flag to touch the top of the shelf then it doesn't fit
That Shinobu figure is still available for pre-order over on Archonia (european site) They only ship to european countries but perhaps you can find a way. (It's expensive on that site tho, it's 230)
Omg I saw that Kotobukiya finally released the Shinobu figure and she has an exclusive face plate if you order from koto. Do you think you're gonna get her ? I remember you didn't have that much fun last time you ordered from koto lol
With the C.C. bunny who I happen to own, for me it was all about the flowing hair as she laid down, I thought it looked beautiful honestly and her face too and yes her behind is very prominent in the figure it seems but as a girl buying a female figure I was more attracted to her flowing hair as to me figure's that are laying down with their hair everywhere its really pretty and artistic but of course everyone to their own opinion. Most of the standing bunny figures have pretty basic poses so when a bunny has really beautiful hair posed everywhere on the ground I just think that is super artistic. For example the code geass Kallen bunny is so beautiful with the colours and her general appearance but her pose is really basic and does not suit her, if she could at least be kneeling with a gun in her hand's I would say that is totally Kallen.

I dont understand, why people accept custom bill as is. You can make a complaint and they have to check again and give overcharged expenses back. I mean 150,- CAD are worth a bit trouble.

And finally, one I'd steal from Gwyn Collects is the Tamaki from Fire Force figure. Yet again it's a series I haven't really watched - I just love her design! I wouldn't dare steal the holy-grail Bokuto and Akaashi, even though I love them. I couldn't do that to you Gwyn! Also I'd much rather have a Hinata nendo'.
There's SO MANY rereleases I'm desperate for: The Promised Neverland Ray, Emma and Norman figures by Aniplex and Wing, D.Gray-man Hallow's Lavi by G.E.M, Banana Fish Ash Lynx and Eiji Okumura by Kotobukiya, Cardcaptor Sakura Yue by HobbyMax, Digimon Adventure Angewoman Precious G.E.M Holy Arrow version by MegaHouse, the Bellfine My Hero Academia figures (especially Jiro), Cardcaptor Sakura Sakura ARTFXJ by Kotobukiya, Killua Zoldyk DX Figure by Banpresto, and Your Lie in April's Kaori Miyazono by Good Smile Company. Basically 80% of my wished list atm.
If I could get any scale figure, first thing that comes to mind is Hatsuharu Sohma from Fruits Basket. I love him so much and he gets no love from the figure makers! For Nendoroid, I would get Chii from Chobits. For Bunny figures... How about Nezuko, a la Inosuke's dream in the Demon Slayer Movie, that'd be hillarious. Because no figures for this exist and I'd love it, a Vision of Escaflowne statue featuring Van with his wings reaching out to Hitomi! I also like the sound of that Yuji figure. And a Sukuna that's actually good, yes to that, too. I agree on that Sukuna figure that's already getting made, though, his face looks off.

It's fine to not like the figure, there are lots of bunny figures that I don't care for. I just thought her reasoning was slightly hypocritical

I also honestly like the Kotobukiya Shinobu best, just preordered her from Crunchyroll to make sure I get the bonus faceplate. I think the base looks a lot nicer than the more expensive one. 😊
As a person who spent $30,000 and more incoming so far on scale figures since 2017 and as a person who's ONLY focused on figures (don't really follow anime culture that much, just really like Japanese figures), this kind of video is a wet dream for me. Thank you!
I *would* rebuy a figure if it comes down to it. Now, thus far I haven't actually rebought any, but I have made "upgrades", buying otherwise essentially duplicate figures. Thus far, the list for that is only two, but that's more due to the fact that I went directly to scales. The only figures that are below proper scale tier are where the character aren't released in any better version, at least not for that particular attire/pose.

My heart breaks knowing there is no Tendo nendoroid. 😭 I would love to see him with his manga! Some favourite poses/faceplates I want to see: him singing his little song with his fingers pointed up, for sure one of his angry faces (too many good ones to pick from) and one of his more teasing/ taunting expressions. I know most nendoroids only come with 2 additional faceplates but I feel like Tendo needs more like Bokuto there are so many faces you can do. Really hope they don’t skimp out on him!🤞

Also the bunny that suprises me the most that still isn't made after all these freaking years, is a bunny figure of Emilia in a purple/white suit. How is this not a thing already? We got a million figures of Rem and Ram, but why not Emilia?? Sorry for my little rend lol

edit: you know, for the chika kimono figure by wing, there is a figure in mdzs, where the figure preview was shown years ago like 3-4? years before and only NOW LATELY do we have have the painted revised version of it and finally an announcement date. I wish and hope the same for chika and kaguya for this too cus as long as there is no cancellation news about them, theres HOPE. i swear.
Jeanne Alter barely fits in a detolf but just because the top of her flag is really flexible, so it can be squished a bit. If you don't want the flag to touch the top of the shelf then it doesn't fit

With the C.C. bunny who I happen to own, for me it was all about the flowing hair as she laid down, I thought it looked beautiful honestly and her face too and yes her behind is very prominent in the figure it seems but as a girl buying a female figure I was more attracted to her flowing hair as to me figure's that are laying down with their hair everywhere its really pretty and artistic but of course everyone to their own opinion. Most of the standing bunny figures have pretty basic poses so when a bunny has really beautiful hair posed everywhere on the ground I just think that is super artistic.
For example the code geass Kallen bunny is so beautiful with the colours and her general appearance but her pose is really basic and does not suit her, if she could at least be kneeling with a gun in her hand's I would say that is totally Kallen.
