He must be the most under rated comic - he is SO natural - I could watch him for hours and hours talk about nothing - just so quick and witty.
I love how self deprecating David is. He's so down to earth and also hilarious. Someone you would love to hang out with and you know there will be lots of laughter.

I'm not from the US but where I lived I remember making jokes with colleagues about the corona virus when the first case was reported in our country. The following Monday my workplace closed down. Everyone was just staring at each other like "ah, okay, I see"

David Spade has become my favorite entertainer. Lots of people are funny if they have time to sit down and write material but he is just naturally funny and comes up with great lines off the top of his head. Even if the line isn't funny on paper just his whole demeanor and delivery of it make it funny. Just got back from seeing his talk show live in Hollywood and it was cool to see him up close and how the show runs behind the scenes. Definitely go if ever in Hollywood. It's free so the price is right.
He was on an episode of Ellen and the interview was sooo funny. Ellen was in tears. He was talking about going to ellens bday party i think. Try and find it. So funny.

In case anyone doesn’t know the famous joke he did on Eddie Murphy. He said: ‘’Look its a fallen star’’.
Yeah, it was around 1995 when Eddie’s movie career wasn’t going so well. Spade was on weekend update and showed a picture of Murphy and said “look kids, a falling star. Make a wish.” Murphy was pissed and called Spade at work on Monday to yell at him. He was mad about it for a long time.

"Next week with no laughs", oh yeah, _literally_ almost. I watch Lights Out all the time, it's hilarious, it'll be a little _different_ without an audience, but four comics in a room, making jokes about goofy stuff, is funny with or without an audience.
Lights Out is really the only time I actually laugh out loud at a TV show.

I think him taking it so personal was silly, since he was a super rich superstar comedian he should've been able to take a joke lol. But on the other hand does SNL make a habit of dissing their alumni? Gerald Boney I couldn’t care less if he saved the show and I would debate you on biggest star from the show (Adam Sandler, Will Ferrel) but I do love Eddies movies, especially the older ones. No, I don’t think he thought about David Spade for 30 years, but it’s Hollywood. David has been asked about this for 30 years now on every talk show and shows like Howard Stern etc. You don’t think anyone eve brought it to to Eddie? No agents, friends, etc? Hell, Chris Rock is friends with both of them. My point is, Eddie was surely aware when this was brought up from time to time, and could have put it to bed 25 years ago...

New Message The fake sounds will fool the home audience but not the guests. A standup comic needs to interact with a live audience to give his act flow. Without any feedback a comic is lost - the only thing worse that dead crowd is no crowd at all.
