In this video I show you five simple Blues bass riffs that you can use for any shuffle Blues tune. These riffs are based on the pentatonic and Blues scales so will sound great and have that 'Blues sound' to them.
The Blues shuffle feel is one that you need to understand to play at Blues jam nights and gigs so in the lesson I explain the differences between the shuffle and the straight feel.
You can use these five shuffle riffs to spice up your 12-bar Blues progressions.
This bass video tutorial is suitable for beginner bass players through to intermediate bassists.

" Riff 5 " is definitely tricky on the first few run throughs but after practice it gets easier . This riff also sounds cool when tuned down half a step .....Cheers Greg !!!!!🙂
It’s a tough one Mike! Once you work it out with the open strings, it’s ok to play. Cheers

היי, אני שמח שאהבת את השיעור. זה רעיון טוב להסתכל על כמה קווי בס של לד זפלין. אני אשים את זה ברשימה שלי!

What year eppie is your bass
It’s a limited edition 2014 model.
mine is a 1966 I ordered with duel pickups, also have a traynor bass amp it has 4 10" speakers.
I like what you are doing to help out others to achieve bass playing in a more simplified way so they can enjoy playing. thx again
😎✌🏻👍🏻
👍
Alas I find the blues boring surely there is a way to make it interesting
Depends what type of Blues you listen to. But we don't all like the same stuff so listen to what you enjoy!
To much talking more playing
It’s a lesson Martin, thus that involves talking to explain things, just like if you had a face-to-face lesson. It would be a bit weird if the teacher said nothing and just played!
If you just want demos though, check the videos out in this playlist. No talking, just playing:
