Nice little puddle jumper, I remember as a kid camping in the Adirondacks someone with a home on the lake had a small plane with floats for getting around and watching frequent takeoffs and landings.
I like the smaller one ... Do you think its easyer to land on water or land ? I live on a lake an never flowen rc planes ( witch wreaks worse land or sea part 2 )
+mouldy model Easier on land. The undercarriage can absorb the shock of a hard landing. On water you tend to bounce back up and stall easily if not done well. As always some planes are easier than others.
I really love the way that thing flies so it has a two-stroke 30 cc How much to make one of those how much do I have to spend to get one of those going
This plane is not cheap - about US $600-700 plus motor plus radio control gear. Guessing that you would be looking in excess of US $1000. This is much more expensive than the electric planes that myself and most of my friends fly. If you have not flown radio control before, you would be well advised to learn with a cheaper plane and get some help if possible.
@Seth'sChopShop I hear ya man. All the hobby shops in my area (burbs of Philly) Pa are all closed down too. We only have 2 legal flying fields in my area now as well. I still fly my planes anywhere I want though. I stay out of state parks though. Too many pussy walkers and hikers around to bitch at me. I've never had any problems flying at ball fields though. I don't care about what the FAA says about rc planes, I'm still gonna do whatever I want with mine. I stay away from airports too. Especially Philly international just to respect the laws though.
Unfortunately Dave, I did not record any details for this plane and I haven't seen the pilot for quite a while - maybe this winter as the lake is beginning to fill again.
Very nice, best video I have seen today!

@@MrWaz11 thanks Waz, great job by you too. thanks
These things are a dream to fly
Great looking plane...any issues with water getting into the wood of the floats?
wow
nice plane!
A plane that big needs an on-board camera. No excuse
thanks, a great video!
I thought you were going to beach the plane You cot lucky
Was that a controlled stall at the end of its glide path just before it touched the water?
Fantástico!
What would be the flying time and mile range distance in a straight path ( Point A to Point B)
Nice 👍
We also like flying with float planes

Fantastic looking model mate, bloody smooth on landing, looks like you almost lost it at one point! Otherwise great video 👍😎
Thanks 👍
Is this a kit or just schematics available?
SWEET!!!
👏👏👏👍

How much total money does it cost for that plane complete with everything except the transmitter? I'm guessing around $700-$800?
Sorry, can't help you - as I'm not in touch with the owner. I guess that you are probably in the ball park if talking US$ ????
You just film friends flight ? Can we have his addy to ask qwestions ?
800 US $$

motor in there?
what engine did you have in that aircraft?

That last turn before landing, I would say was redline to a stall, there is no flap who is going to save it at that altitude.
I did think that I could be videoing a crash there at one or two points!
Not even close. That guy knew exactly what he was doing, and had done it many times before.
Your a BOSS on stick
I had one of these my motor blew and then it crashed
Sorry to hear that Jim. Was it repairable?
?
so cool...
