For being so unfriendly in the chor bazaar is because of the language barrier and the products they are selling.. Some of them were the stolen ones and some of them were the copies.. So they have to be alert and cannot chit chatting around.
*Also* , the bread that you ate was roti/chapati. Parathas are the thicker ones.. Rotis that goes inside oven/tandoori are tandoori rotis.
That's how you differentiate.

As you probably noticed, this second hand, used, stolen & fake Market is Delhi's equivalent to of many of Britain's no go zones. People only go there if they absolutely have to. You also have to be very careful that you're not saying or doing the wrong things in these places, as some people in these areas are religious fanatics that may go beyond just being rude or ignoring you. If you have to go to these kinds of places, please don't go alone.

While you are still in Delhi,
You should check out the Red Fort, Old Fort, Bahai Lotus Temple, Birla Mandir, BAPS/Swami Narayan Temple, Delhi Hare Krishna Temple, etc.. (just ask your Hotel concierge about these places). I heard the Jama Masjid charges foreigners way too much money, so you don't really need to go back there unless you really want to.
I heard Delhi also had a toilet museum, since India also invented the toilet! 😊
Don't forget to see the Jantar Mantar observatory.
BTW, IIRC, I believe the city of Delhi runs cheap bus tours that leave from canaught place.

People of India love travellers as you can see by the reaction of people towards Harry or any other traveller. Dark places in India are not visible, they're exclusively for dodgy people and you won't see any travellers there. Harry that was not paratha...it was roti/chuppati. Paratha is when it has butter or oil added and can have some stuffing and cooking it takes long to fry it. Plain one is roti, bit like a wrap and hence made quickly as only part of it is cooked on the flat pan the rest is on open flame...hence the speed. He was pretty quick to be fair.

Please don't consider Delhi streets as the Real India it's just a part of India....India is a big and beautiful country with different Cultures, Peoples, landscapes....Brother ur's comment might mislead some of the foreigners as they believe that by seeing only Delhi as the real India like many others do....Delhi is a Mughal Influenced Capital city from their Mughal dynasty onwards, it might be chaotic....Jai Hind..

Harry, nice videos but dear keep one thing in mind that not everyone in North India understand or speak english, specially the poor section of society are not well read. If you feel people are not responding or not helping you in some ways,it's not their problem at all, take help of a local who can translate or at least pass your message to the vendor or the seller you are interacting with. People on the streets are helpful in India, but then you have to find someone who is educated & can understand English. Most of the time as an Indian, I see in your videos, you get just half of the message ....from the locals.......as you dnt understand them & they dnt understand you...... 😆😆😆
