I'd like to see you change the title to etiquette rules we don't follow anymore or something like that. Because there's nothing bizarre about cultural norms In an Era of time, hell 20 years ago is "bizarre " to people now. But I know you won't do it and this message will fall on blind eyes (because it's visual words not audio for falling on deaf ears) and you'll just carry on but, it was still said.
A friend’s Zoomer or Alpha daughter was pontificating to us about the delusional requirements she had for her future career while eating with a mouth so wide open food fell out. Like most of her own generation she’s best suited to become an anatomy experiment.
What is acceptable today didn't used to be. I like being with people that have good manners. Many think you have to be rich to do that, but that isn't true. You can be poor and have good manners.
It seemed that having manners would help people know how to behave with others and in public. Basic manners should come back, such as saying, "Please and thank you." Also, and this might be a bit controversial, when a child is having a melt down, please calmly take them aside and sooth them or help them calm down instead of letting them rage and making others have to put up with this.
at around 9:10 you mention the "smiling on the telephone" thing.. that's still practiced in many phone-related businesses. smiling does influence the "vibe" of a voice. in music, too. maybe worth a video?
I will never understand why they record the narrator standing in a super messy cluttered room and then cut him off at the ankles. Very very very poor cinematography
I like his room; he reads, owns REAL BOOKS, has framed papers on the walls. We all know his legs end in feet. Has an authentic demeanor, good conversationalist undoubtedly, type of neighbor we would be privileged to have.
@@marycopeland4049 LOL this is not "his room"... it's a set! The channel "Grunge" is a corporation. These are aesthetic choices the art director makes... not this paid narrator.
There is no such thing as bizarre etiquette. Every era has its seasons and every house has its code. You cant judge any culture in time as bizarre. In 200 years time the future will not be the same as us, hell, we arent the same as 20 years ago so this title and video is inaccurate on its face, and the rest of its body.
Would you like to see any old etiquette rules make a comeback?
Just dueling
"To Love and Nurture Each Other and be Stewards of this Earth."
The FIRST Rule of Etiquette; EVER!
Instead, you created religion..........

Some should come back. Manners at the table while eating should still be done. A lot of kids have no idea how to put a napkin on their lap.
