Cajun children in Louisiana were not allowed to speak Cajun French in school or they were punished. The language is still spoken by some today and now it’s taught in some schools to bring is back but the damage was done thanks to the government. Very sad.
It's both children need to be carried for but also needs to take risks to develop tougher to life otherwise they grow up afraid of the world with no courage.

They steal land, kill the locals then say it's their own, they even had to invent their own god because the original wasn't to their liking. British are by far the worst, note that also includes all white Americans lumped in with British because they ain't American if the land was stolen.
