People laughed at me when I said prior to the season that Doc Rivers is a overrated coach, that Paul George is a good player but not great, that Pat Bev is a overrated defender, that Kwahi doesn´t fit the Clippers system and that Clippers will fail due to their cockiness.
Some of that was right. Pat Bev's playoff numbers were fine. Kawhi's playoff numbers were overall great, including the Nuggets series (he had two bad shooting games, one of them G7, but he was good in every other facet). Doc Rivers is not a good coach, was bad with adjustments, yes. Paul George is a bit of a clown, his game recedes a bit in the playoffs. Kawhi doesn't deserve blame for his on-court production, if you actually look at his averages, but he does deserve blame for pushing the Clippers to sellout on a non-superstar and not accounting for who would be the team's vocal leader when he's a quiet and socially awkward guy.

I was never into the clippers hype. I thought they would eventually face the lakers but I felt like the lakers would have won it. More playoff experience and more collective winning experience. And it’s obvious that with all the different personalities on that team, they probably not hanging out much. Chemistry is important. Lebron invites ad and teammates over for dinner regularly.
The flippers just simply relied on what talent they had on paper instead of going out and being the “dogs” everyone thought they would be this was ultimately their undoing. I for one am glad that all the nonsense is quelled for at least now cuz it just shows you every one is for the moment nowadays. The Lakers can actually get better this offseason and the ability to clear space for Giannis after next season. Giannis’ brother already plays for the Lakers. Setting up Giannis and AD to lead the Lakers into the future. Lebron will finish out this contract and take a reduced contract for a couple more years. Probably retiring somewhere around 2025. Its scary for the other teams right now. No guarantees but with what Im seeing from the Lakers this is the birth of a dynasty. Pelinka is killing it. The Clippers arent done but in no way are they a challenge to the Lakers.

People laughed at me when I said prior to the season that Doc Rivers is a overrated coach, that Paul George is a good player but not great, that Pat Bev is a overrated defender, that Kwahi doesn´t fit the Clippers system and that Clippers will fail due to their cockiness.
Some of that was right. Pat Bev's playoff numbers were fine. Kawhi's playoff numbers were overall great, including the Nuggets series (he had two bad shooting games, one of them G7, but he was good in every other facet). Doc Rivers is not a good coach, was bad with adjustments, yes. Paul George is a bit of a clown, his game recedes a bit in the playoffs.
Kawhi doesn't deserve blame for his on-court production, if you actually look at his averages, but he does deserve blame for pushing the Clippers to sellout on a non-superstar and not accounting for who would be the team's vocal leader when he's a quiet and socially awkward guy.
