Weaving Process in Textile Industries - Step by Step Explanation

- Weaving, one of the oldest technologies practiced by humans, is the process of fabric manufacturing by interlacing two sets of yarn called warp and weft. the basic material needed for weaving are two set of threads. The first set is called the warp, two raw stretched the lengthwise, The second set is Called the weft and its goes back and forth between warp. The thread are now becoming a peace of fabric to keep them from unraveling a reed pushes the threads together.

Thanks for good information. The new looms are so much faster than the old ones we had in the 70´s (200 bpm and less). Maybe today weavers don´t operate as many as we did, about 30 looms for each weaver.

Never worked in a textile mill or any sort of manufacturing before, but will be starting in a few weeks. I'll be a "tie guy" as they called it and I'm trying to learn as much about the process as possible. Admittedly it looked very intimidating today when I toured the mill, but with this and some other vids, this makes me feel more confident in catching onto the process and it's also really interesting! Much appreciated!
