Firstly, thank you for the insightful, compassionate and responsible post; I’m having similar thoughts and emotions about these trying times and how people are acting in relation to it. Secondly, happy belated birthday. I too am a Pisces (2/22). I work on the east coast in the entertainment industry - primarily tv & film - so pretty much everything is shut down here. But I learned a long time ago to bank some when I had some; most don’t have that to fall back on. Because I was always surrounded by 10s and at times 100s of people, and even though I show no ill effects, I decided to keep my ass in the house. And it’s bothered me that people have been out and about as potential carriers of this shit, without regard to anyone else. Can’t be too harsh about it though, it did only just come to light today that a bunch of 20somethings are dying in Italy and France. That got a bit dark. Anyway, all this downtime has me thinking too much and making connections. I wish y’all well and good health.

It immediately had me feel scared and worried for my dad because he has a weakened immune system. Now my whole family and also all my classmates and their families need to be tested.

I'm technically done with my 14 day quarantine, but i feel like it won't really end until this crisis is done, we will all have to isolate ourselves as much as possible until it is safe for everyone

I’m from the UK and just had my last day of secondary school(High school) and all of our exams that we had spent the last 5 years preparing for have been cancelled. I’m in self isolation which meant I couldn’t attend my last day! It’s been so tough but we all have to do the right thing and help each other out and self isolate!

I'm thankful I don't have to worry about losing my job during this time but man people who get to stay home and still get paid are so lucky! It's not really an option for me. I work in a skilled nursing facility so it's vital that I stay at home (other than work) since the elderly are such high risk. I wish I could take a few weeks off though but that's not an option for my kind of work!

Happy belated birthday. Thank you for making this video. Everyday I want to scream at people (Floridians on beaches) who are still going out in public. In the time of the internet we can easily embrace social distancing. (Did I finally watch Unbelievable on Netflix in 2 days? Yeah. And it was brutal but worth it.) People need to be considerate. It’s that simple.
Despite the continuous rise in the virus cases here in Singapore, most of us are still out and about, working and going to school. Many teens/young adults like me are still desperately trying to find a part-time job amid this horror. Malaysia is currently on lockdown and they have closed their borders with Singapore. Some Malaysians who work or study here in Singapore, couldn't get home in time before the lockdown. Right now they are currently sleeping on the streets without any accommodation. It really sucks honestly.
Such weird times we live in. I swear being stuck at home and not really knowing when i will be able to return to work has me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I hope we all are able to stay sane and healthy. But the real question is does Furbo also work for cats??
yeah it is such a strange time I don't really know what to make of it but just trying to stay as informed as possible and listen to quarantine suggestions and make the best of this current new norm. I'm not sure about cats actually I will try to find out.
I agree with you so strongly, I have a weak immune system, I was in hospital a few weeks ago and had to get a blood transfusion lmaoo. Hearing people at school not care about older people or people with weak immune systems really upset me as its crazy how selfish people can be. I live in Scotland so we found out that exams are cancelled this year today (I'm sitting my highers which pretty important for uni) and everyone kicked off and I fucking hated it. I actually didn't really take any footage other than over on IG stories. I was feeling really down that day from my period and PMDD so I was just focused on keep my spirits up and enjoying the day.
So here's the thing I totatly understand what you've had to deal with. I'm from Europe and my birthday was on 9th of March wich was Monday and so.... that means day to work for me and to a lot of my friends and family. However, I did had a little surprise from my family when I came home that day, even though exausted, they had this cake and this champagne and they sang to me the birthday song. It was not all the family, because that was supposed to be on 14th but it was something that I appreciated a lot! So like I said I had HUGE plans to celebrate my birthday on 14th but it was all being cancelled. The idea was to go do paintball and have some fun with friends during the day but it was all being shutted down, closed down. It was being called a state of quarentine, for safety of all. So you can already see that there was no way to celebrate it with my friends. So I had this idea to rent an appartment just for us to be together and celebrate but all the things were being closed! Like, ALL OF THEM! And so we thought that maybe it was more safely just to celebrate on another moment that was more appropriated. Bottom line, I didn't get the chance to celebrate with my friends. The country decided to declare a state of quatentine and to be at home. To be isolated from the crowds. Believe it or not, my country did that even before the president asked us that. Porto was empty. Aveiro empty. Lisboa empty. Algarve empty. Not even a single person at night was seen at a bar or at a caffe. It was so weird to not hear noises out there. now we are at a state of emergency, wich is worse. So I did get a little bummed out to not celebrate with them and my entire family, but I did get to write them a letter/message about how lucky and appreciate I am for them. Every single one of them. I was going to do it anyway when we were together but these times that we are currently living, being isolated, brought SOMETHING special after all. I just needed to express my gratitude for them and tell them how special they are to me and how much they complete my life even being far away. They were not expecting my message wich made it more special to me! So yeah, my 25 year started really weird.... I had so many plans but I guess that life was also currently in its plan. Wich kinda sucks, but it did brought us more closer and we can't wait to be together and enjoying life outdoors with lots of fun. I think that that is really really important to take, that little things of positiveness in all of this chaos right now. More important, everyone is still safe and well and so is my family for now and lets hope it stays that way for a long long time. The same is for you and all human beings, stay safe and do the best you can and more to protect yourself and your loved ones! I am actually feeling full of life and just trying to be positive that everything will end up okay, because we have to trust that life is always doing something special for herself but also for us! Be safe and spread love and positivity! May your 29 year be better soon, because it just started! 🙏🙈

I'm thankful I don't have to worry about losing my job during this time but man people who get to stay home and still get paid are so lucky! It's not really an option for me. I work in a skilled nursing facility so it's vital that I stay at home (other than work) since the elderly are such high risk. I wish I could take a few weeks off though but that's not an option for my kind of work!

When you said you feel as if you're in the period between Christmas and New Year I said "yes!" out loud. It feels like a bizarre period inbetween normal life and finding out the impact of the virus.
Yeah it is just so strange bc if you just stay inside it doesn't feel like this big awful thing. Just feels like meh idk what to do with myself. But then I watch the news or go to the grocery store and it feels so strange and surreal.

In the time of the internet we can easily embrace social distancing. (Did I finally watch Unbelievable on Netflix in 2 days? Yeah. And it was brutal but worth it.) People need to be considerate. Despite the continuous rise in the virus cases here in Singapore, most of us are still out and about, working and going to school. Many teens/young adults like me are still desperately trying to find a part-time job amid this horror. Malaysia is currently on lockdown and they have closed their borders with Singapore. Some Malaysians who work or study here in Singapore, couldn't get home in time before the lockdown. Right now they are currently sleeping on the streets without any accommodation. It really sucks honestly.
Such weird times we live in. I swear being stuck at home and not really knowing when i will be able to return to work has me on a rollercoaster of emotions. I hope we all are able to stay sane and healthy. But the real question is does Furbo also work for cats??
yeah it is such a strange time I don't really know what to make of it but just trying to stay as informed as possible and listen to quarantine suggestions and make the best of this current new norm. I'm not sure about cats actually I will try to find out.

I agree with you so strongly, I have a weak immune system, I was in hospital a few weeks ago and had to get a blood transfusion lmaoo. Hearing people at school not care about older people or people with weak immune systems really upset me as its crazy how selfish people can be. I live in Scotland so we found out that exams are cancelled this year today (I'm sitting my highers which pretty important for uni) and everyone kicked off and I fucking hated it. Okay thats all, don't want to spraff too much lol

I actually didn't really take any footage other than over on IG stories. I was feeling really down that day from my period and PMDD so I was just focused on keep my spirits up and enjoying the day.

So here's the thing I totatly understand what you've had to deal with.
I'm from Europe and my birthday was on 9th of March wich was Monday and so.... that means day to work for me and to a lot of my friends and family. However, I did had a little surprise from my family when I came home that day, even though exausted, they had this cake and this champagne and they sang to me the birthday song. It was not all the family, because that was supposed to be on 14th but it was something that I appreciated a lot!
So like I said I had HUGE plans to celebrate my birthday on 14th but it was all being cancelled. The idea was to go do paintball and have some fun with friends during the day but it was all being shutted down, closed down. It was being called a state of quarentine, for safety of all.
So you can already see that there was no way to celebrate it with my friends. So I had this idea to rent an appartment just for us to be together and celebrate but all the things were being closed! Like, ALL OF THEM! And so we thought that maybe it was more safely just to celebrate on another moment that was more appropriated. Bottom line, I didn't get the chance to celebrate with my friends. The country decided to declare a state of quatentine and to be at home. To be isolated from the crowds. Believe it or not, my country did that even before the president asked us that.
Porto was empty. Aveiro empty. Lisboa empty. Algarve empty. Not even a single person at night was seen at a bar or at a caffe. It was so weird to not hear noises out there. now we are at a state of emergency, wich is worse. So I did get a little bummed out to not celebrate with them and my entire family, but I did get to write them a letter/message about how lucky and appreciate I am for them. Every single one of them. I was going to do it anyway when we were together but these times that we are currently living, being isolated, brought SOMETHING special after all.
I just needed to express my gratitude for them and tell them how special they are to me and how much they complete my life even being far away.
They were not expecting my message wich made it more special to me!
So yeah, my 25 year started really weird.... I had so many plans but I guess that life was also currently in its plan. Wich kinda sucks, but it did brought us more closer and we can't wait to be together and enjoying life outdoors with lots of fun.
I think that that is really really important to take, that little things of positiveness in all of this chaos right now. More important, everyone is still safe and well and so is my family for now and lets hope it stays that way for a long long time.
The same is for you and all human beings, stay safe and do the best you can and more to protect yourself and your loved ones!
I am actually feeling full of life and just trying to be positive that everything will end up okay, because we have to trust that life is always doing something special for herself but also for us!
