Unconscious racism is just conscious racism by those that accuse others of Unconscious racism

She’s attempting to use this “unconscious bias” in an effort to get an “I got you”, but she failed to recognize/acknowledge the speaker’s level of intelligence.

Also, how can you prove someone has unconscious thoughts???

Anyone confusing “unconscious” with subconscious cannot and should not be taken seriously.

Discrimination is a universal thing; everyone is guilty of it at some point in their lives. The ones who spend so much time trying to make it as one sided as possible, are the same ones who are just looking for an excuse to get away with things that would be considered illegal, immoral and any other thing that would be criminal.

Sticks and stones will break your bones, but words will never hurt you!!! We learned this in Kindergarden.

"Privilege" is given, it's not something you have.

Agree. As a Black American the best thing I did was stop worrying about if someone thought less about me because I am Black. I became happier and kinder. Also I remember God calls me to love not to be loved. Unconscious bias is present in everything, not just race. Why is it only race we focus on? What about people with disabilities? I never hear people with far more significant struggles complain.

“Bias” only works if you believe facts don’t exist.

It's virtue signaling, period. If I search and point out every little possible area where bias could exist I look like a good and important person .

Unconscious bias was, literally, debunked in the psychology literature in 2017. It was based on the IAT which was non-repeatable even by the same subjects during the same day or during follow-up sessions.

This problem gained a foothold way back when we allowed a preson to replace "i think" with "I feel".

Unconscious racism/bigotry... Must be a thing cause this student clearly is a mind reader.
Btw... Just on a side note... The high % of blacks in prisons is typically considered to be due to family situations; i .e single parent families. Note: you don't see large % of Asian or Indians for example in jail. Self control as you said is really not 'the thing'.
    Cheers.

One of the first people I’ve heard that actually nails it when it comes to feelings/actions. People always say words have power so watch what you say. I say words only have the power YOU as the listening individual give them. It is entirely up to you.

Kind of funny watching Ben Shapiro responding this way because it is totally different when he talks about media bias as if that's a fact.

When his voice finally changes, he may sound very intelligent. Also, he kind of looks like a deranged serial killer. However, I like a lot of what he says. I guess I may be the crazy one. LOL.

What part of her facial expressions and tone of voice doesn’t clearly show she has no respect for Ben Shapiro? ;/ The sarcastic impression of him should have been a clear giveaway.

I live in the UK. I am 61 years old and resigned from my last job because of the lack of work. I have a good CV (resume) with years of experience in aerospace quality assurance and electronic engineering, and I'm used to getting a new job within a couple of months.
I also know what a good interview feels like.
I had my second longest-ever period of unemployment (the longest was when I barely had any experience and I was laid off), and I had at least a dozen great face-to-face interviews after successful Team interviews.
But I didn't get the jobs.
At one F2F interview, I was the last interviewee, and the manager said, "See you next week!" When I didn't get it. I pressed them hard as to why they had turned me down. Was it my experience or skills?
"Oh, no1" they chorused. "you have all the experience and skills we need."
I pushed harder. Was it something I was doing wrong in the interview? I wanted to know so that I didn't repeat it.
"Well, you know, just... _something."_ That was all I got.
In my current job (somewhere I've worked before), I only did a Teams interview with no F2F follow-up, and with cameras off.
I think in the great interviews where I lost the jobs, HR stepped in and put in an unblockable objection that I was the wrong race/gender/sexuality. I thing DEI played the major part in my long period of unemployment (seven months).

Does she wish her color would fade? Does she want a different shade?
